This is good track mount fishing rod holder. It feels strong and sturdy, it's a good durable rod holder. The t track mount base fits perfectly on my track mounts and I'm sure would fit most any track mounts on the market. It's easy to attach to the rod holder to your track mount. Simply loosen the t adaptor on the base of the holder, slide it in to your track and twist it to tighten down on your track mount. This has a rubber bushing at the bottom of the holder between the bottom and the t adapter, which allows for a good tight fit once tightened down. You can attach the rod holder to your track and position it however you'd like, tighten it down and turn it to whichever direction you prefer and there's a plastic knob on the side, loosen the knob and you can tilt the holder up or down, whatever position you choose, then tighten the knob back up and your good to go. This rod holder fits both spinning rods and casting rods with no issues and has a rubber strap on top that provides piece of mind. You can cast your line out, put your rod in the holder, strap it down and troll up and down the lake without worrying about your rod coming out of this holder. Overall this is a good track mount rod holder, I'm very happy with it, and its a great value for the price. I would definitely recommend this rod holder.

I am new to kayaking but love to fish! This product has let me mix the two together with zero issues. It is easy to install and helps hold the rod when I am in the middle of the lake.

Nicely made, but has issues. There is nothing wrong with the build quality of this holder. My issue with it is that the item is not as adjustable as I'd like. Since the base doesn't rotate you have to play with it ti get it lined up in the direction you want.

Overall decent rod holder for the price. I really like how fast and easy it is to install. It holds position well and is easy to adjust the vertical angle. But, the biggest issue is there isn't any way to adjust the rotation angle of it without over-tightening, or loosening the base. You screw it in and hope it tightens at the right angle, or you flip it around and try again. The angle it stops at is dependent on the thickness of the gear track, and not really adjustable.

I do inshore fishing in the Gulf of America from my kayak. My kayak has two built-in pole holders, but both are behind my seat, and require a bit of a contortion to reach. Worse than that, if I'm trolling, it's easy to be unaware of a fish hitting the lure when the pole is in one of those holders. This pole holder doesn't have any of the limitations of my built-in pole holders.Much of our fishing here is "sight fishing." That means that the angler moves through likely areas while looking into the water for fish. Once he finds an area with fish, he anchors there and casts the bait or lure to where the fish are. I use that method, but I usually catch at least as many fish by trolling during the search process. In a paddle-powered kayak, you can't paddle the boat and hold a pole at the same time. This pole holder enables me to place my rig up front where I can immediately see a hookup while using both hands to paddle the boat. This pole holder attaches directly to the accessory rack fastened to the boat, and it is both secure and highly adjustable in two dimensions. It seems to be made of heavy-duty materials, and I look forward to using it for several years. Also, at a penny less than $16, it's also a bargain.

While there's not a lot to say about a rod holder, this one is pretty nice. It mounted to the poly T-track with no issues and seems to be decent quality plastic material. It is sturdy enough to hold a 7' medium rod, and the strap is a nice feature that not every holder has. I don't think UV degradation will be an issue since I remove the holders when not in use and they're not in constant sun. It adjusts easily and is simple enough to install and remove.

Affordable and functional option for the price. This fit well on my Stealth Pro Angler-118, but if you're using aftermarket rails you might want to check if they're wider that standard rails. If they are it might be a touch loose. The plastic components are solid and the rubber strap holds tight. I use ultra light rods and they fit in well, not too loose but the saddle is plenty big enough for heavier rods. The rubber strap that holds the rod down snaps in tight but with the pull tab it comes off very easy so you won't miss any bites trying to get your rod out of it.The adjustment is done with knob on the side and the ridges are cut deep enough to lock it in securely.I don't like how shallow the mounting plate is seated into the bottom because it seems like a prime spot to snap off but it's held up so far. It's more than sturdy enough for most freshwater fishing but just try not to hit it too hard moving the kayak.

I have several kayaks but they are only used for paddling but when I saw these I had to try them. I also ordered the tracks and plan to mount these on an aluminum boat which is much more economical than some of the ones designed for aluminum boats. The mounting system just makes sense and you can add more or even add other accessories along side. The build quality is so much more robust than the little cheap metal ones that came on my boat and it is so simple to install and once you tighten it down it is secure and isn't going anywhere.
