Chuck key doesn't fit

I have a 1/2” Milwaukee Hole Hog with a similar sized chuck that has been running strong for over 20 years. In comparison, this chuck has multiple issues ranging for soft teeth on the now-stripped chuck key to poor workmanship. On the workmanship issue, the bar welded to the “key” portion of the chuck key broke with normal hand pressure. At an age of over 55 years and as someone that doesn’t lift weights, I don’t consider myself particularly strong. In short, this product is particularly weak. Buy it for a single project only because it must be treated as disposable. In spite of attempts to tighten my drill bit properly centered in the chuck, it often had wobble and the bit frequently slipped in the chuck when the drill bit hit hard material. Buy at your own risk.

I used this chuck in my SDS hammer drill. It worked great for a 2" core drill bit that did not have a SDS shank. I can say that it paid for itself on the first job. This SDS shank chuck will also be used for large metal and wood drill bits.
