The plastic mounting area snapped on first time out, rendering it useless.Had the rod held in while line was in water, and a small fish grabbed the hook and immediately snapped the whole things base..

Very sturdy and fit right on to the Hoodoo Kayak rails! Deliverd as promised. Now I just have to go and find and catch the fish!!!

The first one broke at the bolt , so not over tighten, but very sturdy and great design the way it spins 360 degrees,,,, customer service makes this worth the purchase,,, can’t be beat for the money
