This is my go-to repair for my puffy jackets! I have a cat that loves being carried around, so naturally I used an ancient puffy when I do this. Over the years it began to look like a pin cushion. It also has been torn by thorns during hikes. Enter Kenyon Tent Repair Tape. Just cut to the size you want, peel the backing and stick it on. This jacket has been laundered many times over the years and the tape has held. Get more mileage out of a good piece of gear. It's a great product!

Product worked as intended, easy to apply, adheres well to clean, dry rip stop fabric. I used it on a blue carry- on bag that I accidentally dragged, creating small tears. The navy blue was a little darker than the blue of my bag but close enough. Highly recommended.

Melted a hole in my Patagonia coat, and this worked perfectly to cover it up! Not a perfect color match, but close enough. Thin, so it has great movement, easy to apply, strong adhesive.

Has a couple small tears in my favorite down puffer. Couldn’t find navy in Gear aid tenacious tape so took a chance on this. Same quality as tenacious tape. Color is a very close match. This is very thin tape. Not the heavier weight stuff so works great on light weight down jackets. Jacket is like new again. I get holes in my nylon hiking/camping clothes from sitting too close to campfires. Definitely would buy again. Wish I could find brown since I just melted a hole through a pair of brown REI hiking pants.

Overall not a bad product, pretty easy to apply. Goodbye again if needed for a simple repair. However for some thing heavy duty this is likely not the product for you. Worth trying however would continue to research before buying

Accidentally cut a small hole in some Nike shorts and bought this to repair it. Followed the instructions precisely and yet it only lasted maybe two washes before it stopped covering the hole. Maybe it works better for other materials but think twice if you want to use this to repair running shorts

Ok, so this box of nylon repair tape/patch is hilarious. I think this box is from the 1980s. Not like the design is from the 1980s, but the actual box has been stored in a warehouse since then. The product itself though is in good condition--a roll of ripstop nylon repair tape. This brand carries one of the few navy blue options which I wanted to match my puffy jacket as I did not want a big black or pink repair patch. In some light you can't even see the patch and other times you can but it still blends. I chose an angle for the photo where you can see the patch, but most of the time it blends so well it is almost invisible. The roll is a long rectangle but I cut a section of it into the shape of a tortoise which I think made it look way better. I highly recommend this method if you want (draw the shape onto the back and then cut out before removing the backing). Just don't pick a design with long thin sections or sharp corners. I also cleaned the area with an alcohol swab and let dry thoroughly before applying. I've had this repair in place for a couple of months now and it is stuck well. I'll update this review if it starts peeling off, but for now I am very happy with the repair and it was super simple to apply.--Just updating to say that after 4 years and a few washes this patch is still going strong!

I used this tape to repair my horse's turn out blanket, which had a big 3 corner tear on the top of the rump. I placed the tape under and over the tear and am happy with the product's coverage and resilience for the most part - the edges of the repair have lifted consistently but the repair itself is holding and I can glue the edges. I anticipate it will wash well when I get a chance to do so
