I've got a 1/2" bit jammed into mine. I've tried all the tricks - no luck. I eventually bought a quality chuck and have had no such problems.

Easy replacement, original equipment screw fits through and tightens perfectly. It's a little rough on spinning for tightening and loosening, but otherwise works great!

I had an odd job around the house where I needed to use a large drill bit with a 1/2” wide shaft. But my current drill only has a 3/8” chuck. So I had 2 options: I could either buy a brand new drill with a 1/2” chuck, or get this adapter. Seeing as my drill is perfectly fine and I rarely use drill bits that large, this was a much more cost effective option. It worked perfectly, and saved me a lot of money.

Large enough collar that my XL size hand gets a solid grip and lock. It's simply not well balanced on the torque driver. Switched it from torque driver to drill so I could pick up another 1/2" chuck. Jaws just don't hold the bit securely on a 20v drill. the slightest touch on the spinning chuck under load unlocks the jaws. Round drill bits twist, spin, and burr in the jaws. Hex bits work better but that's not saying much.As a daily user, I was expecting more.

Just wobbly garbage.The 1/4" hex to 1/2"-20 adapter will back itself out while reversing.The screw was installed, but the adapter is a bit short on threads, so the screw is pulled out.
