While this lock is a bit more to install than a regular door knob/lock I would say that was expected. However, if you follow the instructions carefully (and check out the online videos) you'll get through it just fine.I did send up needing customer service for a small issue but they were helpful and super nice. A pleasure to deal with.I'd recommend this lock if you want the peace of mind that comes with technology.

i decided to purchase this item after my teenager lost 3 house keys! this is a godsend, everyone can have their own code so you can monitor over the app when people come or you can have one code for everyone. the fingerprint scanner seems to work great at first but needs to be updated often, every few months or so. the app is super convenient allowing you to lock the door automatically after a certain amount of time or turning off the auto lock all together. this is a great product if you have kids that need access to the home when parents are working.

Received and installed the lock without problems, installing it was easy. After a month in stopped working, it did not lock unless you use the key.Reached out to Cuatomer service and they sent me a replacement, the turn around was really quick. The lock has beeb qorking without issues since then.Customer service was great, easy to desl with and attentive. They also followed up until it was all resolved.

Finally, we are very happy with Smonet smart lock purchase !!We were originally planning to buy Yale, but went with a friend’s recommendation based on their positive experience.When our lock was installed, it worked fine for some time, but then we were no longer able to pair our phones with the Smart lock and were not able to use any features , we were able to use the key though.Reached out to customer service , they were very prompt in diagnosing the issue when I did a video call to show them the issue. They shipped a replacement lock, which worked like magic , the representative also sent a video on how to install / troubleshoot and also followed up later to check everything is working well, the quality of care we received was outstanding!!!Being able to lock/ unlock multiple ways ( through app / fingerprint scanner / key ) is great !!

Unfortunately....... This item lacks wifi capabilities with buying SOMETHING ELSE. This is a sad old people company type practice. Other than that.... great looking and works great

I'm very happy with this lock so far. It was easy to install and it seems to be of very good quality. The fingerprint system works great so far and allows for easy access, so does the codes and I like having the option to still use keys if needed. The vendor was great following up on the sale and offering additional instructions on how to install the lock even before I had received it. They also made sure that was I please with the purchase which I was. Unfortunately, the only thing that did not work for me was the handle, because the existing holes on my door where further apart than the holes required for this specific handle so I recommend checking the distance before purchasing, but I'm very happy with the lock otherwise and the vendor was able to assist me with the issue as well.

To all those interested in an honest review, here it is: the installation and instructions of this lock are clean and pretty simple. If the holes in your doors prematch, you should be done in a few minutes.The users are easy do set up and it is convenient to use. Unfortunately, the electrical part of our new lock stopped working after about a month, with no explanation or reason. The keys (manual part) still worked but hey,what’s the purpose of having a smart lock if you can’t use the ‘smart’ part of it?Reaching out to their customer service, they were very prompt in diagnosing the issue (based on a video I sent) and send a replacement right away. The company’s representative followed up to be sure the new lock is up to par.Nevertheless, know this is a decent lock for the money but the customer service is available should you encounter any issues with your product.Stay safe out there!
