Very hard to rotate the filter. As a result if you rotate in the direction the thread tightens, it locks on. Luckily I have a filter wrench, otherwise I wouldn't have been able to take it off. I have bought several circular polarizing filters in the past (I have 5 of different sizes) and this has to be the worst yet. I have returned the filter and have asked for a refund.Also please be aware of scammers. I have now received 6 emails from someone appertaining to be the supplier. They have asked for my PayPal account so they can send me £20 as a result of me returning the product. The emails are not associated with a company but are personal ones, and they change every time. They have guessed my email account and are persistent and would appear they are trying to wear me down so I will answer - don't. Luckily my email provider recognises the emails as a scam and they go into my junk mail folder.

The circular polarizer work as it should, the surprising part is the case for the filter is very useful for storing different size of filter, so I would keep it around.
