This item was easy to install a little pricey for what it is it did work and giving me a cell phone boost, but you cannot be more than 5 feet away from the booster. Otherwise you will lose your cell service that is boosted. That is my only complaint that it does not go any farther I have a 40 foot camper. I wish it would reach all the way to the bedroom and to the back.

RV dealer convinced us to install this product, but it has never worked. The unit overheats to the point of being too hot to touch. Called King customer service three separate times and was forwarded to voice mail each time. Also sent an email to the company, but like all three phone messages, there has been NO response whatsoever. King does make some good products, but their customer service is non-existent. If you're considering buying anything from them, make sure you do it on Amazon so at least you can return for a refund if necessary.

Tech support is all but non existent. Call, leave message, wait for 3, maybe 4 days, but you'ld better be by your phone when they call back, or you're waiting again. Terrible.Think about thus for a second, Why would tech support be so backed up if their products were awesome?Currently, I'm waiting for either a call back, text, email for a part I wish to purchase. I need a replacement antenna. No way to buy it on their web page.Negative experience all around.

Does not appear to do anything. Tested in semi-remote area of one bar without booster. No difference in bars nor data speed using the booster plus the upgraded Wilson antenna mounted well above the RV roofline. Then I did the cell phone diagnostic test. The dB signal increase is only within 12 inches of the interior antenna.I have placed two voice mails to their tech support. Once they left a message for me. Weeks later, still no response to my second call. The amplifier uses a significant amount of my boondocking power. Must use the inverter to make the 12VDC into the 120VAC the unit requires.Very disappointed in this product.

I had some problems with my extender and contacted customer service. Dan immediately was available and handled my concerns in a very kind and professional manner. He stayed on with me until I was completely satisfied. I feel a company is successful or not by their customer service.

After install I wanted to test the booster but I was already getting 3-4 bars on my iPhone in my driveway. The latest iOS software updates no longer support the test feature that shows the actual signal strength in RSRP decibels instead of just bars. So I found an app called OpenSignal, it doesn’t give you the RSRP signal strength but it does give the download and upload speeds. I drove to a nearby state park in search of a weaker signal in order to test out the booster. After finding a spot with a consistent two bars I ran the test in the OpenSignal app without the booster being on, and then ran it with booster. I did this several times over the course of 15-20 minutes. My findings were the the booster did consistently increase the download and upload speeds. However the upload speed benefited considerably more than the download speed. Also when the booster was on the signal bars on the phone would increase from the two bars without booster, to three bars with and even four bars if the phone was placed right next to the indoor antenna of the booster. Now for the not so good. If you moved the phone away from the booster antenna more than a foot or two the signal strength and test speeds dropped considerably. Which leaves me to believe that if you were in a very weak signal area you would need to be in be 1-3 feet from the antenna to have enough signal boost to make your phone usable. However field testing in different environments will be needed to get a better assessment. And I will leave an updated review once that is done. The other problem with the booster is that it didn’t come with a dc/dc plug-in adapter. It only comes with an ac/dc adapter so if you aren’t connected to shore power you would need to run a generator to power the booster. I found this unacceptable considering it was designed for an RV. When boondocking no one wants to run their generator just to power such a low amp device. Which forced me to spend more money on an adapter, something that is a necessity for mostAfter further field testing I will post another review. As for now it seems to work but...
