Pretty decent brush at a little pricy brush price. It does the job but there’s nothing exceptional about it. I really prefer a brass stem rather than the aluminum. At least they showed the aluminum in the picture as many brushes have a picture of a brass stem and then send you some kind of a aluminum alloy product. At least I hope it’s aluminum because I don’t wanna be scratching my barrel.It does the trick and it’s decent. But the reason it is only 3 stars is it cost considerably more than a $.99 Chinese brush that is virtually identical. If anything the Chinese brush has a little thicker bristles. It could have more bristles but it’s not the thinnest brush I’ve seen but it’s not the heartiest either. But it’s a tiny bit expensive and so it gets three stars instead of four but it is quite serviceable to me.I’ve tried many kind of fancy brushes, some with spiral loop wrapping and other such things but basically they don’t work any better and some work worse and they cost more. So I just go with the basic brush.Photo: This brush is on the left and the generic 99 cent brush is on the right.I know three bucks is an a lot of money for a brush but if you clean a lot of guns and you buy these by the case you’re looking at considerably higher expenditures than buying the $.99 brushes.

Well made item as expected from Kleenbore. Effectively cleans the barrel of my .40 S&W handgun, which is all I ask of it...
