Let’s face it - knocking the used coffee grounds out of your portafilter is a huge mess. This helps keep the mess down, is easier on the side of my trash can and looks better than the plastic container I was using. The bar to tapping it on is padded so your portafilter stays nice looking too!

Poor quality and extremely cheaply built. Nail holes aren't even filled. And the metal dump bin is not even magnetic so definitely not stainless steel. With all that said I plan to keep it as I bought it as a temporary solution until I can build a nicer one as part of a coffee bar project. I probably should have looked for one on Etsy for better value.

If you don't like the wording on the box, turn it around and you have plain wood. The stainless tray is easily removable and the cross rod can take a few punches to shake out the espresso grind. Used for several weeks now and no regrets.

Super close to great. The actual metal pan is very light weight and you get what you pay for. Works great but could be stronger.
