I bought this as a returned item for a significant discounted price and quite honestly minus the box being retaped and slightly damaged the weed eater itself is bad to the Bone. I like this one much more than the rigid because the safety switches on the top and is easy to hold down while using this tool. I currently have a stockpile of four amp hour batteries for all my other kobalt tools so longevity will hopefully be great with this for what we needed and if it is not I will update this review.

So easy to use. No pulling. The battery lasts for my whole years and still enough juice for the blower. Never go back to gas powered.

So far, I have brought two of these trimmers. I could not get bolts for the hinge to go in for the first one, so I sent it back and ordered another one. The guard screws on the second will not go in. I am stuck because I have two 24v Kobalt batteries and must get a Kobalt product.
