We just moved into our new house and have to constantly mow the lawn. This mower has been a great help. It's easy to assemble, lightweight, powerful, easy to use, and comes with two extra rolls of nylon. The best part is that it takes up little space when stored.

I used the the first time yesterday, I used it 3 minutes, when I tried to get more string out , one side nothing was sticking out, so I tried putting in a new spool, when I tried to use, it wouldn’t start . I’m baffled, I no longer have box for it, so I can’t return it, or I would get my money back.

This worked better than I had thought it would. I wasn’t expecting much from a $30 weed Wacker, but this worked out pretty well for me. The weed Wacker was easy to put together. It comes disassembled in three parts that are connected by the power cord. Just push the parts into place and screw them together. Also comes with two spools of extra strings that can be easily replaced. The cover is just as easy to install with a single screw. I don’t use this much as this is just a backup for when my gardener forgets to show up to do maintenance. It’s worked well when I tried to trim the weeds that have been overgrown in the front lawn. It’s simple in that it works with an electrical cord. No need to have to deal with gasoline.

It's perfect. It's light and still works great. I'm impressed.

This took all of 8 minutes to assemble. The weed wacker arrives folded in three sections. The power cord is already threaded through the three lengths from the handle on top to the engine on the bottom. It takes just a few screws to assemble the three lengths of the body into one sturdy unit. Then it takes one more screw to secure the string safety cover once you've snapped it into place.I was confused about a small piece of plastic with rubber that was not explained. After looking over the trimmer, I saw that the small piece fits on the underside of the string safety cover. The two screw holes close to each other matched up with two holes on the cover, so I installed this piece still having no idea what it's function might be. My hunch is that it prevents the length of the string from extending beyond the edge of the cover, and thereby prevents the cover from getting whacked by the string when it is in use.The weed wacker comes with two extra spools of string pre-wound and ready to install, and one string spool already in place and ready to go. I have not yet tried to replace a spool, but I see a tab that I assume will release the spool when I press it. I can't imagine it to be very complicated when the charm of this device is its utter simplicity. When the line breaks off, there is no button to press to extend the line. Instead, you need to gently pull out the length that you need. You'll probably wan to unplug first though, just to play it safe. The one issue I have is that the wacker is a bit short for me, so I need to bend over a bit when using it. Consequently, I've run a belt through the handle making a loop that allows the trimmer to hang off of my neck and takes some of the weight off of my arms and makes be bend a bit less. As a taller person, I think it would be neat if they made a trimmer with an adjustable length, but I'm only using this for a few minutes at a time; so I am unlikely to develop any L&I claim from using this.
