The old tongue jack on my motorcycle trailer had become so stiff and difficult to raise and lower that I was wishing for a way to hook up my drill or impact driver to it, but there was just no way. As soon as I saw this jack, I knew I had to give it a try. The fit was perfect. The holes lined up perfectly, and it was literally a five-minute job to replace. The crank mechanism is smooth, even when using the provided, detachable wrench. The real superpower with this jack, however, is that they provide you with an adapter that can be used with your power drill, half-inch impact wrench, or impact driver. This enables you to raise or lower the Jack in a matter of seconds with no effort. With my motorcycle trailer fully loaded, I was easily able to raise the Jack from the lowest position just using a battery-powered electric drill. The finish appears to be powder-coated so it should last. The foot is mounted on a tube with multiple holes for adjustments in case you need an extra-long reach. Short version – this is an excellent choice as a tongue jack replacement. The only thing that would be easier is a fully electric version, such as is seen on many RVs, but that would be overkill for most applications. Please note: nothing less powerful than a good quality electric drill will be adequate with a fully loaded trailer. You will not be able to use something like an electric screwdriver, for example.

This thing is beefy. way more stout than i imagin it would be. We were gonna replace the one on our 5x8ft enclosed trailer which would involve some a custome instalation. it was really an overkill so instead area installing it on the 14' flatbed. the drop feature would be much more helpful. you dont have to wind the jack ALL THE WAY DOWN any more. you just bull the pin and drop the jack to near the ground, lock the pin then use the jack feature to wind the rest of the way. will save you time. The other cool thing is that the bolt pattern lines right up with the old tongue jack. I dont know if this is a standard in tongue jack manufacturing but we were glad to not have to do any mods.Lastly, this model comes with the removable jack handle and says its rated for drill use so it come with a 1/4 adaptor to use with your drill for making even easier and fast to use if you happen to keep your drill on hand which we do.Awesome solid tongue jack. Buit well and bolts right up to the old location. This one is worth the buy. we'll be looking for a smaller one for the enclosed trailer now.

It fit perfectly on my trailer where the old one was. The bolts were even the same threading as the old ones. The instructions for this are non-existent. The only 'Installation' instructions are to "Mount the jack according to the provided diagram or drawing." There is no diagram or drawing included. However, it pretty much goes where the old jack goes. The hardest part of the installation was simply raising the trailer high enough to install the adjustable foot and removing the old stand. This this is very heavy-duty and is built to last. Once I had it installed, I tried it out and it was quick and easy to raise or lower my trailer. It is absolutely worth the purchase and I would highly recommend it to anyone tired of cranking their old jack stand!

Class act. Came with bolts, adapter for a 1/4” drive, socket, nice hand crank. The foot is adjustable for height. The jack is well-geared making it easy to crank up and down. Nice quality.
