I have tried and tested more water shoes than I care to admit to. And they have all been just about the same. They protect your feet int he pool or the stream or whatever, but they have the flaw of being...well...water shoes. Not suitable for wearing out of the water when you need some protection, such as going between the house or maybe at a water park walking between attactions. But, stop the presses, this is the one. These are special, and by goodness this is the one. These shoes have regular tennis shoe uppers and lowers, which you would think would be a show stopper. But the upper is lightweight so they dry quickly, but the secret is in the lower. The sole of the shoe is just like the rubber from regular tennis shoes except...they have holes in them to allow them to drain. That means you get the benefit of the cushion from regular tennis shoes with the drainage of water shoes. I can literally wear them all day. In fact, they are also stylish enough to wear out and about if you wish.The fit is good, I wear a 9.5. The style, as mentioned, is nice, and the function is superb.I can't say enough good things about these, they really are that great. I've written a lot of reviews, and I always give an honest opinion as I would want from someone who's opinion I'm reading. These are great! 5 Stars.

I love these lightweight, 'beach' shoes! They are light, they go on easy, and I can walk around in sand, water, mud... Then, I just take 'em and clean 'em with the hose! I keep them by the door so that sometimes, when I'm already in my jammies, and I have forgotten to take the big garbage bin to the front of the lot for pickup the following morning... I can just slip 'em on, walk through the wet grass to the side of the house, the big bins to the curb, return to the inside, and rinse 'em off in the kitchen sink... I'm all GOOD!OR...POOL TIME!I don't like walking around, (or IN), our development's public swimming pool with bare feet. These are PERFECT for protecting my feet around and IN the pool!OR...Hey, it's time for our yearly trek to Hollywood beach in Florida!I'm GOOD!

These are very stylish shoes, durable, and they fit great. Quality is good, they are comfortable, and unlike regular water "shoes" they are actually shoes and not just some kind of rubber slip on. I'm very happy that I ordered these and look forward to using them for getting across some rivers to fish and camp, and they worked very well when I wore them into the ocean.

These seem like nice water shoes and will look ok walking around a resort. They do run big ... my husband wears a men's standard size 10 shoe and we ended up with a size 9 in these water shoes. We have not used them at the beach yet. They seem like a good value for the price.

I grabbed these for a hike that had a few stream crossings, and they held up great. The mesh dries fast and doesn’t feel heavy when wet, which made it easy to keep moving without squishy feet. I like that the soles have good grip, I didn’t slip on wet rocks, even when the current got a little pushy. They also kept sand and little pebbles from getting inside, which is usually a problem with cheaper water shoes. The toe protection came in handy when I accidentally kicked a submerged root. I’ve left them in the trunk since, they’re light, easy to rinse off, and just come in handy when plans get a little muddy or wet.

These are sneaker-like water shoes that arrived in basic packaging and seemed well made and with no quality issues. Fit to stated sizing was accurate.Overall comfort was fine. It has been too cold to test for waking on the beach and in the water, but they were comfortable for testing purposes around the house and for short walks outside. Underside tread functioned just fine for 'non-slip' on normal surfaces.These have a 'normal height' heel and stayed on reasonably well. The closure mechanism was a stretchy lace 'loop' (i.e., continuous loop, as opposed to normal laces with two unfixed ends) which was tightened with a permanently attached, plastic spring clip. This worked just fine for securing the shoes in place, but folks should be aware it is difficult to make these "very tight" on the feet. (Generally, for longer walks my feet need more/tighter support, so I would be concerned about using these for long water hikes. That being said, shouldn't be an issue for "go to the beach.")For water use, these definitely drain well and quickly, in terms of water exiting the shoe. However, getting to "full dry" took a while, maybe a couple hours. So, these drain much faster than normal shoes, and dry faster overall, but it's not "miraculously fast."Because these drain quickly, and based on the materials, very easy to clean; I would expect no problems cleaning dirt or sand off or out of these.Overall, a good product for casual water/beach use. Looking forward to more testing at the beach later in the spring/summer!
