I’ve been using this KVM switch for switching between two laptops, and it’s made my workspace so much more efficient. It’s easy to set up and the 4K resolution at 60Hz is crystal clear. The 100W power delivery feature is a huge bonus, as it keeps both laptops charged while switching between them. I’ve had no issues with lag or connectivity, making it a reliable solution for anyone with a multi-laptop setup.

This KVM switch works exactly as intended. I’ve tested it between a MacBook and a Windows PC, and the performance has been seamless—much better than other KVMs I’ve tried in the past. The design is compact and slick, making it easy to fit into any desk setup without clutter.Switching between devices is quick and reliable, with no noticeable lag. The 4K@60Hz video output is crystal clear, and peripheral sharing (keyboard, mouse, hard drives, printer) has worked without any hiccups. I also appreciate the 100W USB-C charging support for the laptop—super convenient. My only suggestion for improvement would be to include an additional USB 3.0 output port. That would make this device even more versatile for setups with multiple peripherals.Overall, this is an excellent KVM switch that delivers exactly what it promises.

Please note that this is 𝙣𝙤𝙩 a KVM (Keyboard, Video & Mouse) Switcher, but is instead a dedicated DisplayPort Switcher to switch between two video sources aimed at a single display Monitor. Therefore, if your intention is to use this to connect two Computers to one Monitor, in order to switch between their output video, then please be aware that both Computers will still need their own respective Keyboards and Mice. That said, many will still find this device very useful, under certain circumstances.Basically, if you need to be able to switch between two DisplayPort outputs that go to a single Monitor, then this 8K DisplayPort Switch will let you do that. That is all it does, but it does that very well. One application being, for example, when you have run out of available input Ports on a Monitor, but still need to add a new feed from another Computer (or from some other video source). In that situation, an existing Monitor Port otherwise used by another Computer, can be disconnected and then shared with the new Computer, via this 8K DisplayPort Switch. The main points to note are as follows:• The button on top of the 8K DisplayPort Switch must be accessible, because switching is not automated, so it won’t be practical if the 8K DisplayPort Switch is buried deep under cables at the rear of your Computers.• The 8K DisplayPort Switch needs a 5 Volt power supply, so you will ideally need to use a plug top USB Power Unit, but the USB-A to USB-C Power Cable needed is supplied.• The 8K DisplayPort Switch can manage 8K at 60Hz, or 4K at up to 144Hz.𝗪𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗜 𝗕𝘂𝘆 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀?Yes, it seems well made with a metal chassis, and I have found that it switches very smoothly, albeit I have only tested this at 4K 144Hz. That’s because I do not currently have an 8K Display.

For a 1 metre USB-C to C data cable, this is about as good as it gets… It’s a well-made, fully wired cable, which supports both fast charging and fast data transfer between devices (up to 40Gbps).The cable has a nice black/silver-grey outer sheathing, with good cable restraints and matching easy to grip plugs. The plugs have gold-plated internal contacts, and fit securely in USB-C sockets.I tested it, by transferring data between my Lenovo ThinkPad T480s laptop and my Samsung Galaxy S22 phone. Data transfer of a 22GB video recording file, took less than 3 minutes (whilst charging my phone). And, if you want to charge your device even faster, then connect it to a PD or QC charger, that supports ‘super-fast’ charging. This item wasn’t available at the time of my review (April 2025), but I expect that a cable of this quality would be quite expensive.

The core product seems to work exactly as needed. It's simple to set up, remote has a long cable so you can hide it. What you should note however is the quality of the USB C thunderbolt cable is lacking. It does not seem to have the bandwidth for 4k, though I can only establish that visually. I replaced it with a 4k rated cable and relieved myself of artifacts on small letters. If you have a large 4k monitor with small fonts you will see some rainbows behind letters and it will probably be frustrating. Get a good cable.

I recently tested this USB-C KVM switch that allows connection of two computers to a single 4K monitor. The device performed excellently across my testing scenarios. The switch effortlessly handled my Linux desktop and Mac Mini setup, providing smooth switching between the two systems with no noticeable delay. Video quality remained crisp without glitches or signal degradation. To test the power delivery capabilities, I also connected a MacBook Air M3. The 100W power delivery worked as advertised, charging my laptop without requiring a separate power adapter. The single-monitor design is perfect for my workspace, eliminating cable clutter while maintaining full functionality. Switching between computers is straightforward, making this an ideal solution for anyone working with multiple systems on a single display.

I’ve been using this excellent and very sturdy USB-C to USB-C cable mainly with a 100W GaN charger to power my MacBook Air and occasionally a power bank and Pixel 7. Charging speed is excellent, and noticeably quicker than standard 60W or even 100W cables, especially when used with a higher wattage GaN charger, like I was doing in my testing. My laptop went from 10% charged to 85% charged in under half an hour, and my phone charged up to 90% in the same amount of time. So the 240 Watt charging rate does seem legit, although I didn't have all the right equipment to prove how close it gets to the top end of 240 Watts stated.Data transfer also seems as fast as promised. I moved a 25GB folder of video files between two USB 3.2 Gen 2 SSDs in a little under 15 seconds. That’s roughly 1.6GB/s, which is in line with 40Gbps speeds, so definitely no complaints there. The build feels solid. The connectors haven’t wobbled or bent with daily use, and I’ve tugged it a few times when working in cramped spaces. The outer braided covering is thicker than average and hasn’t kinked or frayed.Where it loses a star for me is the length when used as a display cable. At just 3.2ft (just under a meter) it’s fine for desk setups for charging close to a plug. However, when I went to use it as a display cable, and because the cable is so sturdy, that lack of flexibility in the cable made the cable feel shorter than it is because you can't bend it as much as you can with a thinner and less sturdy cable so you need more of it so you can bring it into the port in a bigger turn (or loop). I just about managed the setup by moving my monitor and laptop around and the cable performed superbly as a display cable as well.If you want to use this as a display cable for a permanent solution then I suggest you measure your distance properly and make sure you get the length that works best for you, but the manufacturer should have thought of that issue up front and provided a longer cable by default, especially because one of the advert pictures shows it being used for this very purpose. This is the only reason why I have given this 4 stars as otherwise it's an excellent cable both looks, build quality and performance wise.
