How to set the extended mode
Windows OS: Press the shortcut key "WIN+P" and then select "Extension" below;
Mac OS: When [Mirror Display] is unchecked, "Extended Mode" can be achieved.

Iโve been using this USB switch to connect multiple devices, and it has worked reliably so far. Pretty much plug and play so easy to get up and running. Doesn't take up much space on your desk and seems to be of good quality. Included with it are 4 usb 3.0 cables and a wired remote to make switching even more convenient. Most people will probably use this to swap between a desktop and a laptop but it can handle up to 4 pcs/laptops but you'd likely need a big desk.

The ability to share peripherals (keyboard, mouse, USB headphones) over my work laptop and home PC has been brilliant.Just plug this in and it's been working flawlessly since and saves having two of everything and keeps desk clutter to a minimum.If you were sharing over two home computers you could even attach a USB hard drive to this and have an convenient shared storage drive, which would be incredibly convenient (and not rely on cloud storage).4 USB cables plus remote control switch are also included - all you need to get up and running.The switch supports up to 4 connected PCs/laptops etc and up to 4 peripherals making it very versatile.Note that the only thing missing is any video switching capability - it only supports data peripherals like mouse, keyboards, printers etc and has no display output/switching (other switches do supports this but do come at a premium).Everything good, although I'd prefer it to be cheaper than this without the video switching capability.4 stars from me.
