This ladder stabilizer's parts are all very solid and fit together very well. My husband said the only issue was that there were no instructions on how to put it together, so he had to guess. Once he figured it out, it was fine. The stabilizer is adjustable and provides a very high quality attachment for a ladder. He feels safe using it.

Good sturdy metal build quality, non-slip padding to prevent damage to roofing area. Easily attaches to little giant. The only drawback is the assembly - wish they had included a paper sheet. Had to follow the instructions on the webpage to assemble it. I saved the instructions in case I need it later. Essential safety to prevent ladder slipping as it adds a level of stability - more attachments to the roof. Decent buy.

Made with heavy duty materials for safety and stability. It is very easy to assemble and is adjustable for various needs and ladder sizes. Our roof is 2 story's high, steel roofing and has always been a bit scary on a ladder, especially when cleaning the woostove Chimney. This adds a huge layer of peace of mind when doing that now! Very happy with it!

Like it but the rubber pads mark up my siding and makes the ladder heavy on that end

This came in a box with 3 main metal parts and some bolts and rubber feet. The parts seem very sturdy.Mine did not come with instructions. I tried to put it together based on the ads on Amazon but have no idea if I did it right. It'll go onto my porch until I can spend more time trying to puzzle it out or get a friend with more mechanical ability to assist me. How could I ever trust it?1 star. It's only a collection of parts. The most it will ever get from me is 2 stars, if I figure it out and it seems to be reliable.

This ladder hook is very well built and will withstand years of use. You can lay it onto a roof or against the house for both stability and to protect the shingles/siding. It does require some assembly and there are no instructions included (that caused me to reduce my rating). Fortunately, Amazon's site includes enough pictures and examples to provide assembly help. There are clamps that secure the hook to your ladder. They are pretty easy to put on but you'll likely want to disassemble once the chore is completed. You can even disassemble the entire hook assembly for storage if you don't expect to use is for a while. For fifty bucks it's a worthwhile safety device.
