While the product itself works fine for me, I did not get 40 stakes. There were 18 stakes in bothe packages and if you're putting them 1 foot apart, you come up short. I had to go to my local big box store and purchase a pack of 10 stakes to use an additional 4.

The edging was exactly as expected. I felt the number of stakes were adequate. I did find it difficult to cut but not insurmountable by 70+ female. Putting it in the sun for ease of installation was a great hint. The intent was to keep mulch in place maintaining a clean and neat edge. I purchased a larger amount from another vendor (more length and higher number of stakes per foot) once I saw how nice this was going to work.

Worked perfectly for the area I wanted. However you will need more stakes to hold it in place.

My husband and I are not very good at doing things like edging. I tired to call Lowe's (could never get to a real person) and Home Depot (the person I talked to was NO help) but could not talk to anyone who could help me decide what kind of edging I would like and would be able to do. I called my friendly gardening store (Skinner's) and the woman I talked to directed me to this site. I read the reviews and was really glad that someone said to uncoil the edging first. We uncoiled it, stretched it out in an open, straight part of the lawn, and put stakes partly in while it rested in the sun for about an hour. It was then very easy to use. My husband and I were able to put in this edging all by ourselves and were pleased with the result. I highly recommend this product. If we can do this, about anyone can.
