The two tools were clean, rust free, and packaged well to prevent exposure. The cutting insert and holder fit together perfectly and seem to be made well. I have not cut any threads yet, but from what I see so far they should work well.

I had assumed that this was a 5/8" shank threading tool, and 1/2" shank threading boring bar, alas....it is not. They are both around 3/8. Not exactly what I was looking for. They both seem sturdy and well built.

So far these inserts are a great value. I use them for light cuts in my home shop and they work great. I will definitely buy more when I use all these.

I threaded 4 Blaser rifle barrels (hardest barrels I have ever threaded in 20 years) without swapping the insert. Cut nice clean threads. Came with a nice little wrench for the insert screws. Inserts stayed tight the whole time.
