I received this item a day or two after I ordered it and put it together right away. The instructions were clear and everything went together in only a few minutes. I didn’t take an assembled photo, but including a photo of what all the parts look like out of the box- but don’t let it intimidate you as assembly was very straightforward. I did have to fuss with the rake part of it and getting the “teeth” to line up, but after being a little more careful with this step it went together just fine. Once I put the rake together I realized that this thing is HUGE. Luckily I can unscrew the handle for easier storage and once I started using it the size made way more sense. The width of the rake really helps to make sure you can level out areas. It is a bit heavier than I was anticipating, but I found that when I got to work it was easy to manuever and the weight helped to level out the sand I was spreading. This is definitely a more specialized tool, which I knew when I ordered it. We are using it to level our lawn and after trying this leveling rake out I can’t imagine trying to do this without a tool of this caliper. Overall I’ve had no quality issues, everything seems very sturdy.

I ordered this to level out the dirt in my garden. Upon building it, I noticed a few things: First, it's heavy, which is great for me but may present an issue for some people. Next, the leveling base is gigantic, which allows you to cover more ground faster, but also puts more pressure on the joint where the base connects to the handle. Finally, the handle is really long, which is awesome for those of us that are extra tall. Sections can be removed to make it shorter if necessary, but the multiple sections creat multiple weak points in the handle. It leveled my garden in under 30 minutes.

Horrible product. The part that connects the bracket to the base was about to break off if I used it any longer. And I only had it for a couple of hours trying to level dry sand! I returned it without any problems.

Do not buy this. One pass and the bracket to handle bent. Second pass hand broke right off. Save your self and just spend the extra cash at a home improvement store.

This worked perfectly when we tilled up part of our backyard to create a garden area. We put down about 24 raised beds, so first we needed to flatten/smooth the area so the beds would be level and this thing worked perfectly. It's got weight to it, so it's not just soft pressure, it's got decent pressure. I was shocked at how big the base was. Not only is it heavy, but it's significantly sized. It worked perfectly for our needs!

I run a landscape company and we use mosnry sand to level lawns for our Reel Mowing clients. This rake is a great tool to make sure the sand spreads evenly. Built tough, this rake will allow you to push sand into the low spots and scrape sand from the high spots. A must have tool for those looking to get the best quality turf.

Got it today put it together only used it for 20 or 30 mins pivot bent poor design need to beef it and the handle up all i was doing was moving freshlytilled dirt that was loose . I may need to take it to work and make a new pivot or send it back. I'm sure if I keep using it, it will break in half. Save your money and buy a good one another 40 or 50 will get you an all aluminum one better built it will be smaller but better than this one.
