Works for what I need it for. I have a mole issue on my property. I got this tool because I thought it would help me in leveling my lawn after them. If you dont know, moles dig up the dirt from under ground and make a little mound. Kind of like when there is an ant pile only bigger. I used this on multipe mounds and it has helped my lawn look back to normal.10/10 recommend for small areas.

As soon as it stops raining I plan to work on my yard. One of the things that's happened is during the drought my hybrid bermuda grass died back into clumps and then when it rained, the dirt around the clumps eroded so now I have a super uneven yard. I also want to put in pavers and stepping stones and I will need a leveling tool and tamper to set them in place. When I saw this leveler available as a free promotional I ordered it. I know that it seems like the new trend is long handled tools coming in segments to be put together. I guess as long as the assembled handle is sturdy enough it's ok. If not I have other handles that I can use. It is larger than the levelers I saw in the hardware store so I hope that will make it faster to do the job. It appears to be sturdy and well made. I appreciate that they included gloves and the tools to put it together. I will update my review after I've had a chance to use it.

Used this to level a section of my yard where water had been spilling over from a clogged rain gutter. Probably 20x5 ft. It worked great to spread out the dirt I had dropped there. It doesn't do any kind of separation between dirt and grass/weeds, but I didn't expect it to. Build quality is solid and seems durable enough to take abuse from being thrown around. I plan on installing a gravel grid along my side yard and filling it in with 1/2 inch gravel, which this tool will be perfect for.

My yard is covered with divots and lumps from dogs, uneven erosion and more. I'm trying to rehab it and this is coming in extremely handy. The head has a good amount of heft to it, so after I till the ground, I just drag this all over the section I worked on and smooth everything out. Once the ground is workable, I just smooth it out with the leveling rake and go to town

I used this leveler to level my yard for artificial turf. I found that the leveler was not well balanced. The front would lift up when pulling over sand and dirt. I need to put a lot of pressure and lower the handle to get good traction.

Simple to assemble and very sturdy material. Not industrial grade sturdy, but home DIY sturdy. The poles doesn't give me the highest of confidence for heartier jobs, but did just fine for my small job. I debated if it was worth getting a leveling rake for what seemed like a one, which was my front lawn. This made my job so much easier, and after my usage experience, I am adamant that it is essential for a job done right. Along with some other tools newbies like me never knew I needed like a steel tamper, this leveling rake worked very well in providing good results for a paver base foundation. Highly recommended!
