These capsule LEDs are the most compact and by far the brightest of all of the types I have. The control has more color selections and modes than many of the others. The seal is tight and solid. The only caution is that you need to replace the battery plastic barrier when not using these lights. They will drain slowly if you store them without putting in the plastic barrier.

I do enjoy my slushie machine. Primarily for entertaining. These little submersible led lights are cute and fun for the machine. They go in the discharge tray under the mixer well. Turned on via remote and they light up the mix nicely. The led lights has several nice effects that change color patterns. I use the "fade" mode. Well made and bright. Not sure how long the batteries will last..time will tell all.

I ordered these to use in our Ninja Slushi when we have people over for parties, etc. Although these lights are small, they put out quite a bit of light and since 3 lights are included, the Ninja Slushi lights up the kitchen! Having the remote and numerous color and lighting options is great! You need to unscrew the lights and remove the paper from the battery compartment so they will work. You have to line up the light insert with a small grove on the plastic casing and then screw them together tightly so they are waterproof. The lights and remote all use the flat batteries, and I do wish they were rechargeable instead of needing to replace batteries, but they are a fun addition to our Ninja Slushi!

These are really unique! Their waterproof ability has absolutely been tested and I’m pleased to say that they are. I love the wide variety of colors you can change them to and you can also adjust the brightness. They actually do give the drink itself a color if it’s clear but if the drink is opaque, the plastic vessel it’s in does light up at the bottom. So no matter what you’re making, it does have some sort of effect!
