Works really well. The radio reception is very good!

It is perfect for the elderly who may want or need an easy to use radio that is simple to tune and want a bright easy to read screen. The LCD screen makes station selection and function easy, easy and accurate. This is so nice for anybody who wants a good radio. This is a radio with a few extras that do not get in the way or make the radio complicated. It has sleep function activated with a single button. All functions just an easy button press away and right up front. This will make any old world radio person happy. It just works the way old time radios used to work, only better. This is the radio to get or to give as a gift, for anyone, any age.The fit and finish is top notch. It is built like a radio from the golden age. It is a sturdy, responsive, sensitive a radio you could ever want. It is one of the few radios made today that just might last for years and to be handed down to children or grandchildren. It is table top portable radio. Perfect size for those who want both portability and audio performance. This radio sounds good. Very very good.It is made or sold by LEOTEC. I have had other Leotec radios and I have never been disappointed by their low price decent preforming machines. This radio, the model LTBT2411, is an AM FM Radio with a bright easy to read LCD Display and Bluetooth and 10 various White Noise options that sound very very nice. They are environment and light music sound effects that are very pleasant and will be enjoyed.This radio feels very well built of very high quality materials that are very well put together. This radio feels and looks as good as it performs. There are NO disappointments to be found with this radio. It runs on common and easy to get 4 AA batteries (not included) oar a back mounted AC cord for direct connection to a wall outlet. This too is a sign of a good radio, no external bulky wall wart AC adapter. Just a cord to the wall. So nice to have the electrics built into the radio.This radio is stable on a tabletop and portable too with a solid comfortable fold down handle. This is a really good radio.The antenna is long, feels strong and sturdy and made to last (and it picks up stations too). Very sensitive and selective at picking up local and distant radio stations and locking them in. This AM FM radio is made right and judging by its sound and performance must have top quality electronics inside.The buttons feel good, solid and responsive. The volume and tuning knobs are very easy, smooth, responsive and right up front. Design and function are great. Has a side jack for a standard 3.5mm headphone for private listening. Nice. Bluetooth is easy, fast and solid.The speaker is probably around 4 inches and as I said (and promise) it sounds good. Very good.For the modest cost this is an amazing radio. This is a radio worth much much more than the $24 it now sells for. This s a 5 Star radio. This radio is a keeper. This radio is worth giving. This radio will not disappoint. Just get one. This is the radio to get. No regrets.

nice radio for $25, seems well built and simple to use. I have a couple more AM FM radios, made by CCrane, so it’s hard not to compare the Leotec to them. But you could buy 4-5 Leotecs for the price of CCranes least expensive offering, so it’s not a fair comparison. In SW Florida, I basically use battery powered radios in 2 situations. The first is after a major storm, when there is no power, no Internet, no phone service - and the radio is your only connection with the outside world. Being able to sit in the pitch black while the winds scream all around, and listen to communities where the storm has passed or communities that will be hit after you, is priceless. Just knowing where you are and what is coming helps make it thru the nite. And then the following morning, after storm passage, the information provided is very helpful. The 2nd occasion is while working outside, fencing, roofing, etc.. nice to be able to tune into music or a talk program and make the day pass quicker. The Leotec is perfect for both situations, especially the first since most people don’t want to drop $100-200 on a radio that they store away in a closet until the next disaster.Initially I thought the tuning and sound quality was just “fair” on the Leotec, I knew a couple stations that the higher end radios would have picked up and sounded better, but then I switched to battery power and noticed an improvement in both, reception and sound quality. Perhaps there was some electrical interference on the lines coming into my house when plugged into 110, but on battery power the weaker stations came in and the sound quality was respectable. I’ll be using battery power 90% of the time so NBD.The controls are intuitive, the provided instructions didn’t really help me. I’m not sure I’d use the “white noise” features, several were kinda annoying to begin with and don’t see it helping one sleep. I didn’t try the blue tooth feature, or using my earbuds since I’d just run my earbuds straight (wired or BT) from the phone. And if I want to listen to Pandora or Amazon Music I’d BT my phone to a regular external speaker, I don’t think I’d bother using this radio to accomplish that.Overall, a well put together radio, with decent sound and reception, that would work as a daily driver, but is perfect for a backup radio when the xxxx hits the fan, at an excellent price point.
