These cap lights were just what I needed for the gate on my fence. They include a plastic adapter that lets you use them for a bare 4x4 post, or they fit nicely over the PVC covers (like I have) without the fitting. I didn’t bother with the included screws since they gripped nicely without them. The light is nice for aesthetics, but won’t light up an area very well. Just a subtle illumination, which is what I wanted. Very nice, highly recommended!

Great set of post lights. Love the option for 3 different color temps. Also come with adapter for smaller posts and screws for mounting. Easy to install and great illumination. Highly recommended. Keep in mind these are not very high. Make sure the look is what you are going for.

Nice set of lights. I got these to use as ground lights when camping to use on both sides of the tent door. Works perfectly for my out the box needs. These would be nice as intended for sure. Easy set up out the box. Definitely takes in enough solar to keep lite for hours on in. Good value for a good quality product.

It's pretty, but not as bright as I expected. After charging in the sun all day it's light maybe reached 5 feet but even 3 feet away from it the light was so dim it was basically useless. The light is on a post in the first picture here, and is only 31 inches above the step and the moon is pretty full. The last photo is with my phone's flash on.It does fit my 4x4(3½x3½) wood post, but it's pretty loose. There is an internal part that is removable for larger posts. My overall opinion is it's more decorative than useful.

These are nicely made, fit easily on the post, and seem to do the trick. They do light up, but probably only enough for marking the post, not really bright enough to illuminate the path. On the whole, I recommend these.
