We bought this place in 1993; it was a sellers market and we were looking at 1200 square foot places for $130,000. We looked at this commercial building, 3.000 square feet, for under $100,000 with a huge wrap-around driveway (which I still love!) and ended up buying it. Made some rooms - bedrooms and a kitchen, got rid of the flat roof, by adding an unfinished upstairs using computer engineered trusses; metal roof; on-grid and off-grid solar, 18 SEER heat pump with nat gas backup, etc. Replaced all the fluorescent lights with 4 foot LED bulbs, etc. When we took possession, there were all these incandescent exterior driveway lights, interior emergency exit lights, and other things that easily totaled, probably, 2 kilowatts. I just ran around and disconnected them all at the time. So, at my leisure, I'm replacing all the emergency exit lights now, to keep the place the way it was in case it ever becomes a commercial building again for any reason. This one is kind of cheaply made, but completely adequate. I needed one for the middle of the building this time, with arrows pointing to the front and to the back, I needed one with LED lights, of course, and I needed one with with flood lights. The green emergency exit light portion is VERY bright - almost too bright! The whole thing supposedly draws 5 watts. The instructions weren't all that good, but I got it installed without any real trouble, and this one has all the features I just mentioned. I don't consider the flood lights to be super bright, but they're bright enough; totally adequate! I haven't tried it yet, but the specified 90 minutes battery time is also totally adequate. The battery looks very easy to replace if it ever needs to be. No complaints!Try to get it right the first time! The front of the unit was incredibly hard to separate from the back portion and I would NOT have wanted to try to get that back off after it was already mounted on drywall with those not-very-strong (included) plastic anchors!!

Bright LEDs, easy to install, and low power consumption. These are great.

My husband loves LED products and it responsible for purchasing for our condo association in Florida. We had them professionally installed and they work well.
