Was a little awkward to get at the screws. I undid one screw from old bracket at a time so could put the screws back in the holes so was easy to find when replacing with new one.Works great once installed & still have another if the otherside breaks. Been about 9 months so far with no issues.

Description describes as aluminum construction. Worked fine and easy to install but handle and mounts are made of pkastic. Not sure how long it will last

After the pull handle for the foot rest on my Bosmiller recliner -that’s another story altogether- failed after 3 months, I had to search for a replacement on Amazon because Bosmiller failed to replace the pull handle with cable after I asked them to send to me since the recliner had a one year warranty. Once I realized the company was not sending me the part, I searched Amazon deligenntly in search of anything that matched the pull handle. I took a chance on this product as the photos most closely resembled the failed part. I received it in a few days from Amazon but realized I that there was no instructions for replacing the handle.Some reviews indicated that the arm rest would need to be removed to gain access to the cable attachment to foot rest lever. I placed the recliner on its side, took photos, and began the process of removing the old cable and installing the new replacement. It was a perfect fit and it took me just 15 minutes to replace in the recliner. I received two replacement cables so I have one in reserve if I should need it. The cable/handle part was definitely superior to the original cable that came with the Bosmiller recliner. It was priced right and will definitely last longer than 3 months. Great purchase.
