this product is an excellent addition to our 4 inch trundle bed mattress. it provides softness and comfort along with a light scent of lavender. the twin xl is the perfect size. I recommend it

I normally don’t take the time to write a review but I figured if it helps ONE person, it’s worth it. When first opening, I was super concerned. It was deformed and thin and didn’t appear to be expanding. After looking at some reviews, I saw a gal mention massaging the topper to expedite the process. I tried it and it immediately started to do what it was supposed to. The more I gently massaged, the more it expanded. It eventually expanded to its intended size and shape. After about 10 minutes, it was completely ready. I slept on it after 6 hours. I use it for a topper on my son’s floor bed. I haven’t gotten the frame yet so it’s just the mattress on a bunkie board. It was super uncomfortable before but after adding this topper it’s night and day! It’s incredibly comfy and the lavender scent is nice! It reminds me of lavender essential oil.All of this to say, if you open yours and it looks like it may have been packaged too small or for too long and you think there’s NO WAY it’ll look like it’s supposed to… don’t panic like I did… MASSAGE IT! :)I recommend and would buy again! I attached pictures. One is immediately after opening and the other is 10 min after massaging it.

The color and smell faded over time, but for the first few months the lavender scent was really nice. One note is that if you have a cat, they will definitely try to tear it to shreds when you clean your sheets.

Exactly what was shown and very comfortable! Make sure to get deep pocket sheets because I didn't and it stayed on the mattress topper now both!! But absolutely love this product!!

My husband and I have mixed feelings on this mattress topper. This is gonna be a long one so buckle up.Whatever about this is supposed to be lavender other than the color doesn’t exist so just dismiss that bit of it.Our mattress was way too firm and we were having issues with our hips and shoulders because of it. We went with the 3 inch because we figured it would be a decent balance of softness, but not too soft.This topper is quite soft and is not nearly as supportive now as it was when we got it about three months ago. It has helped with our pain, but it’s not holding up as well as we would like.We have a queen size mattress, and this topper is about 4 inches too short for it. It seems that maybe this topper was measured on an RV queen mattress. That said it’s also not quite wide enough. If it’s lined up with one edge of the bed it’s not lined up with the other. The issue with the length is really frustrating because we’re both taller people. I’m 5’7” and he’s between 6’2” and 6’3”. When our heads are on our pillows, our feet stick over the end of the mattress topper.The topper is starting to pill some just from normal use, and there is a very pronounced ridge in the middle of the topper because we don’t tend to sleep in the middle of the bed. The ridge is so pronounced that it makes it hard for us to spoon each other. Now granted, I’m sure some of that ridge is the mattress underneath as well because it is also foam but it’s definitely gotten worse since we’ve put the topper on.I find myself having more issues with my lower back than I did before we got this topper. The topper makes it hard to roll over or to scoot if you’re sitting up in bed.A few positive words about it: I’ve not noticed the bed being any hotter, I’ve not noticed it being any cooler either. It didn’t have a weird smell when we unwrapped it, but it also didn’t have the lavender smell that’s advertised. I don’t notice that it holds onto any sweat odor or anything like some mattress toppers may. It inflated just fine when we unrolled it and well within the amount of time suggested.TLDR; if you are a single person who wants a VERY soft mattress topper that doesn’t have a strong odor or you’re in a pinch, this will work just fine. I don’t suggest this for long-term use as it hasn’t held up well over the last three months.

I've read a lot about memory foam toppers, and since my pillow top king sized mattress (which cost way too much money) is starting to get long in the tooth, I figured I'd take the plunge when I saw this available with Prime shipping. When I bought the Lucid 3 inch lavender memory foam, I didn't really know what to expect. It arrived in a small box, and after a few minute struggle with several layers of plastic, it was inflating on the hardwood floors in my dining room. Even though the instructions said to wait 48 hours, I couldn't resist throwing it on the bed that night to take it for a test drive. Boy am I glad I did. It really was the best night's sleep I've had in years. Since I didn't air it out properly, it did smell rather strongly of lavender. That didn't bother me too much as I like the smell of lavender, and after a few minutes, you stop consciously smelling it. So, when I woke up the next morning, I stripped the sheets off to let it air out during the day. That night, the sheets went back on and the smell was much more subtle. Another dream sleep. I often wake up in the middle of the night for a bathroom break, and have trouble getting back to sleep. Not any more. All I can remember now is waking up, making the trek, hopping back into bed, and thinking -- oh my goodness this bed is comfortable. I can't say if the product will hold up for years, or if it will get too hot on a scorching Australian night, but I can say that the first few nights on a Lucid memory foam topper have completely changed my relationship with my bed. I hope it lasts forever.
