Don't put anything too heavy on it. It's really meant to be a light-duty shelf. I'm not saying it's built poorly, I'm just saying it's not built for heavy things.Putting it together is pretty easy. You look at it and it makes sense how it's supposed to go together.This is a good little shelf, and I feel fully comfortable recommending it! 👍

I have to give this 5 stars for the price. The quality is quite sturdy. It's very nice unlike a cheaply made value priced shelf that are so common. The frame is metal and the plastic inserts are very solid. It ended it up being too big for my desk. I really need kitchen organization as I only have one counter. This ended up fitting perfect under my kitchen pantry cabinet. The bottom shelf is big enough for a roll of paper towels. All of my spices fit nicely on top. You could definitely use this for makeup and toiletries in a dorm. The shelves snap right in place OVER the metal racks. I accidentally did the opposite. It takes 2 seconds to assemble. Great buy. Now I need some cute spice bottles to go with my new shelf!

This is a nice two-tier organizer. It does exactly what I need. It’s helped get some of the clutter out of my workspace and into a spot where I can find things again.Assembly was easy. It took maybe five minutes. The shelf feels stable sitting on my desk, even with a decent amount of stuff stacked on it.Its footprint worked out for my limited desk space. This is a practical organizing shelf combo that helps me organize the clutter. I like it.

This was fairly easy to put together compared to some other shelves I have, just put it in diagonally in the proper direction and press it into place. It feels fairly sturdy once it's together! I am using it on my desk for art supplies, like packages of markers and small watercolor sets, and cups of pencils and pens on the top shelf. Good for additional space while organizing!

This shelf assembles easily without needing any tools. The sides are metal and the shelves are plastic. One of the photos on the website shows this being assembled with the bottom shelf installed about 6 inches above the desk which is exactly how I wanted to use it. Counting the desktop, that would give me three levels of storage space. I was able to install that bottom shelf in that position but it is held there solely by friction. There is no support on the bottom to keep the shelf from sliding down if there is enough weight on it. That was a major disappointment for me and why I docked two stars. So far, it's working for me but I anticipate a time when I will need to put some supports underneath to keep the shelf in place.
