I am truly impressed. The last time I had Ludwig equipment, I was in middle school band, but this is an impressively solid stand. This is what I expect from Gibraltar; it’s sturdier than Pearl stands.

I've been eyeing this bad boy up for several years and finally bought it. We have become a duo like Michael Knight and Kitt, but we are Jeff and this stand. Now just to be clear this stand doesn't talk. You can talk to it, but it doesn't answer. What it does is hold a snare drum like a champ. Now as far as fighting crime, if a burglar broke into my house and I had a choice of either hitting him with this stand or throwing my cat at him, I hit him with the stand. In summary, me with this stand is basically Tango and Cash.

Standard snare stands won't fit my PDP by DW Limited-Edition Dark Stain Maple and Walnut Snare With Walnut Hoops. The Walnut hoops require about 16 inch spread. This stand works perfectly and is very strong with great articulating adjustments. Love it.

Fairly low sitting stand - not great for tall players, but it does have a small footprint compared to my DW 9000 snare stand. Fits my 14" snare nicely but metal sticks out from the adjustable basket arms when holding my 12" high tom (be careful not to scratch up your drums on them). The memory lock easily broke when tightening it but the rest of the stand is super solid.I would like to see a taller version with rubber bumpers for the basket arms. Other than that it's a grade A/B product.

The "Rolls Royce" of snare stands! Innovative & versatile design, outstanding durability and stability. Comes apart and folds fairly flat, easy to pack. Only one complaint - VERY HEAVY!
