Super smooth reel! Love the deep spoil! Love the look! I use this reel on my YouTube fishing page and it is performing very well! If I can come up with the money I would love to add a 2000 series to my arsenal as well!

Top of the line at a great price. Perfect for bass fishing. Brand name of same quality would cost well above $100. Smooth operation and drag. No complaints.

Love this reel, really smooth and quite, drag is also smooth and has a loud sound when pulled, I would recommend buying one for panfish.

This is a decent little reel that I’ve enjoyed using. The problem is that I think it’s a budget reel that presents a poor value. There are far better products available from major brands for in this or lower price ranges. The Good:- Drag works well and is strong. I unexpectedly reeled in a large snapping turtle yesterday without any issues.- Looks like a premium reel in some respects- I like the rubberized thumb grip (I hate EVA grips)- Generally performs well when it comes to reeling in fishThe Not-So-Great:- The reel handle feels super plasticky and cheap to me. Instead of a knob to unscrew the handle, there’s a little plastic disk that also feels cheap and that’s super easy to drop.- There’s no anti-reverse lever on the 1000- This feels heavier and bulkier than other 1000-size options.

The Handing M1 Elite Spinning Reel (Size 2000) appears to be a solid option for anglers looking for an affordable and versatile spinning reel, especially for freshwater use. Its specifications suggest a decent balance of performance and durability for the price.Key Strengths:Price Point: While the actual price isn't mentioned here, the features and description strongly suggest it's aimed at the budget-conscious or entry-level angler. This makes it a good starting point for beginners or those who need multiple reels without breaking the bank.9+1 Stainless Steel Ball Bearings: The presence of 9+1 stainless steel ball bearings is a significant plus. This should translate to a relatively smooth retrieve and reduce friction on key components, leading to better performance and potentially increased longevity compared to reels with fewer bearings.8.82 Lbs Max Drag: An 8.82 lb max drag is reasonable for a size 2000 reel. It's sufficient for tackling a variety of freshwater species like bass, trout, panfish, and smaller walleye.5.2:1 Gear Ratio: This gear ratio offers a good balance between power and speed. It's versatile enough for general fishing applications and allows for retrieving lures at a moderate pace.Size 2000 Versatility: The 2000 size is a popular choice for lightweight applications. It's suitable for finesse fishing with lighter lines and smaller lures, making it a good choice or various species and techniques.Potential Considerations:Material Quality: The description doesn't specify the materials used for the body and rotor. Depending on cost, this could impact durability over the long term. Cheaper materials (like graphite composites) might not hold up as well to heavy use or accidental impacts compared to aluminum.Real-World Smoothness: While the 9+1 bearings should provide smooth performance, the quality of the bearings themselves can vary. It's important to test the reel in person or read user reviews to confirm its actual smoothness under load.Drag System Consistency: The 8.82 lb max drag is a good starting point, but the consistency and smoothness of the drag system are crucial. A jerky or inconsistent drag can lead to lost fish.Overall Impression:The Handing M1 Elite Spinning Reel (Size 2000) offers a promising blend of features for its likely affordable price point. The high number of stainless steel ball bearings and decent drag rating are particularly appealing. However, potential buyers should be mindful of the materials used in the body/rotor construction and research user reviews to ensure the reel provides smooth performance and a reliable drag system in real-world fishing scenarios.Who is it for?Beginner anglers looking for a reliable, budget-friendly reel.Anglers needing a lightweight and versatile reel for freshwater fishing. Those seeking a backup reel or a reel for specific finesse techniques.Recommendation:If the price is right, the Handing M1 Elite (Size 2000) could be a good value. I recommend reading user reviews and, if possible, handling the reel in person to assess its build quality, smoothness, and drag performance before making a purchase.

Review of M1 Elite Spinning ReelAs an avid angler, I’ve tested my fair share of spinning reels, and the M1 Elite Spinning Reel has certainly made its mark, particularly given its $20 price point. I purchased mine at full price of $40, which, in retrospect, feels a bit steep for what you get, but I’ll break down the pros and cons.Performance and Design: First off, the reel operates smoothly right out of the box. The 5.2:1 gear ratio provides a decent speed for retrieving catches, whether you're reeling in a feisty bass or a light panfish. The 13.23 lbs max drag is more than adequate for most freshwater fishing scenarios, allowing for a range of catches without the worry of failing under pressure. The 9+1 stainless steel ball bearings contribute to the overall smoothness of the operation, a feature that particularly impressed me for a reel at this price point.Build Quality: The CNC aluminum spool feels durable enough, and the overall construction is satisfactory for casual anglers. I will say, however, that I have some reservations about long-term durability. Only time will tell how it holds up against regular use. But for light to moderate fishing trips, I believe it can handle the demand.Value for Money: Herein lies the crux of my review. At $20, this reel would be a fantastic bargain, ideal for beginners or for keeping as a backup in your tackle box. However, paying the full $40 feels like a stretch, considering there are competitors in this price range that might offer slightly better performance or durability. Conclusion: In summary, the M1 Elite Spinning Reel is a solid choice for those just getting started in fishing or for anyone needing a reliable, budget-friendly reel for occasional outings. If you can snag it at the lower price, you’ll likely find it to be worth it. But with the full price in mind, I’ll be keeping my fingers crossed on its longevity. Time will reveal whether this reel earns a permanent spot in my fishing arsenal or becomes a short-term solution.

I truly stand behind handing products but with this its Not nearly the quality I was expecting coming from handing I have every size of their original m1 reels and almost every series of rods they have made the past few years and I expected the elite To Be A step above. That is not the case it feels like a much cheaper made reel and I'm not impressed. I do not recommend this one.. Go with the 1st M1 reel or the pro. I do alot of fishing and believe me this is not a reel to keep around when there are sooo much better in the same price range..
