STEP 1: Drill Out the Old Threads
- Use the drill supplied in the repair kit.
- Ensure the drill is perpendicular to the work surface.
- Maintain the proper drilling speed during drill bit usage.

STEP 2: Counterbore the Hole
- Use the counterboring tool supplied in the kit.
- The tool has a built-in depth-stop feature that limits the counterbore to the proper depth for the installation of the insert.

STEP 3: Tap the Insert Installation Threads
- Use the tap supplied in the kit.
- Ensure the tap is perpendicular to the work surface.

I got these for my husband. He likes to try new tools as often as we can get them. He said they work great. He had no issue using them. They are made of great material. They stay in place as they are being used. No chips or jagged edges. They work very nicely!
