Doesn’t have the embossed John Deere, but comes with a good quality decal to go on it. Just have to remove the4 bolts for the front grill and it snaps right in, looks good !

This does not fit the older x500s with serial numbers before 020001 it is too narrow too small for the front of the unit research your serial number and order the correct one I had to send this one back for a refund

My JD X300 was missing the bumper and my hood has some cracks in it but could not justify buy an original part so I gave this a try. Very happy with it. Would buy it again.

Notice that I didn't say "fits perfectly." I changed both the hood and the front bumper at the same time, and I had a little trouble getting the two parts into agreement. Otherwise there was no problem. Given that they are complex plastic parts from different manufacturers, I have no complaint. I followed the advice of others to lay the old and new hoods side-by-side on a soft surface, which made it easy to tell where each part went. Now my 12-year-old X300 looks like new!

Color a little off but wasn't important in this case. It is way better than the missing piece.The OEM JD has John Deere embossed .
