4 of the steel rings are out of tolerance and absolutely would not slide on the hub. After a close inspection the teeth are exactly the same as the recessed grooves in the hub and will not slide in or line up evenly.I also feel like the steel itself is inferior to the originals. This was a hard lesson to learn cheaper parts never save you money,I would not recommend this pack even if they all fit correctly the edges are sharp on the steel and the fiber plates are much lighter than the originals and just feel cheap.I could have overlooked an honest mistake or defect but the entire kit is poor when compared to the originals wich honestly aren't top shelf anyway.springs are also too short,no travel at all so steel plates..bad,friction plates ...poor springs....wrong packaging ...very nice

Steel plates do not fit a stock M8 basket. The fiber plates fit though and appear good, so you can probably use old contact plates if they aren't burned into or grooved.

Have an M8 that I boosted the power a bit and I wanted a stronger clutch and this is working out great so far. Comes with stronger springs and the pull on the clutch lever is still fine. I have removed the dumb Harley cable with the spring in the cable as I did not have the feel that I like. This clutch I have good feel and is easy to slip if needed but otherwise grabs and hooks up nicely. Installation is straight forward and I soaked the fiber plates overnight before I installed. I am really liking the prewired items as they seem to be very good quality so far I am happy with there products.

I was a little apprehensive using these "unknown brand" clutch plates in my M8 Road Glide, but I'm very pleased with the results. They dropped right in, and they're working great. They hook up well, and actually seem to be a bit heavier duty than the OEM clutch plates. Only time will tell how well they hold up in the long run, but so far they're working great after a couple of months and I'm really pleased with them. I wouldn't hesitate to buy them again.Recommended.
