This device will heat ferrous metal to a "cherry red"; however, its ability to heat the target metal depends on the circumstances. I tried the device on a snow blower wheel hub that had rusted on to its drive axle. This device was not able to get the hub hot enough to break the wheel free. The instructions indicated that 3/4" was the maximum thickness the device could heat. This limit may have been the reason the device was unable to heat the wheel hub sufficiently. I also tried the device on a broken off steel exhaust manifold bolt on the same snowblower. In this case, the aluminum crankcase may have substantially dissipated the heat. Consequently, the bolts never glowed red. I am giving the product three star because the offering to my recollection didn't mentioning the thickness limit.

Get it!! Worth it and many uses other than rusty nuts. Pipe bending etc for sure. Kit is good but get more tooling but they are just copper wire 10 12ga. Maybe . I have 1500w. If I lost this one I’d go bigger but mine has good power

My husband uses this in a professional setting in a few times it has saved the day or so he claims. The valley for your dollar is there The build quality is all right. Functionality is pretty straightforward it's nice The value for your money again it's there compared to the venom off the tool trucks that will run you over $500. The heat up but could be better but for most general jobs it'll get the job done or if you're just a DIY guy this would do everything you need in a driveway.

It heated up for about 20 seconds and that’s it. Nothing i could do would get to heat up again. I would suggest buying a different brand

Very happy with this induction heater. Been on the fence about buying one for quite some time... had to do manifolds/studs on an older 5.4 Ford. Used this to heat up the rusty nuts and studs on my truck. Overall it freed things up pretty well. Plan to purchase additional coils as with use and touching them to things hot the insulation will crumble. But this is to be expected. I used 1-2 coils for both manifolds on my truck.Glad I bought this tool. I feel like it will be a great help with future projects and safer than working with a map gas flame around wires and lines.
