Works well, doesn't distort the image. Great quality and the lens is durable. It's got some thickness to it so you have to remove it before turning off the device. What placing on you have to manually adjust it since it doesn't just snap in place although magnetic. The magnetic strength is pretty mediocre, doesn't fall off, but with jerky motions or shaking it will pop off.

Really great wide angle lens! It actually works really well with only minimal distortion at the outer edges. You do have to take the lens off before turning it all off because it is way too thick to allow the camera to close all the way but other than that it works great

Thought I'd try out a wide angle lens for my Osmo Pocket 3 to help widen the view of my videos.There's lots of brands out there making these lens so it's pretty much a toss up on effectiveness and quality.This lens is built like a tank, so much so that it is extremely thick. It's so thick that you can't leave it on when not using the camera so you always need to remember to pull it off before shutting off......which, is sort of a hassle. It also isn't compatible with a lot of the lens holders that are built into 3rd party cases due to it's thickness. It does fit into the OEM case but only on the lens holder that is just under the gimbal and not the one under where the touch screen sits.When attaching you have to carefully place it on the gimbal and center it manually. It doesn't simply just snap into place. The magnet doesn't hold super tight either but I'm guessing any of these lenses are the same so I can't really knock this one for not having a strong enough magnet. As long as you aren't doing super jerky movements or vibrating the camera too hard, the lens will stay in place.As for it's effectiveness in wide angle, it does the job. I do notice that the view increases quite a bit making it easier to frame myself when vlogging or include more area in a scene than before. I am no videophile so don't necessarily take my word for it but I saw very little to no distortion on the sides. Of course, I didn't do a full on examination but there didn't appear to be any noticeable blurring or distortion on the edges. I'll come back and update if I notice anything later.All in all, a well made, albeit large, wide angle lens that gives you some additional flexibility with your Osmo Pocket 3 at a very reasonable cost of just $22

I have an Osmo Pocket 3 to capture my videos, and the built-in lens has a somewhat narrow field of view. This MINGVEN wide-angle lens adapter gives me a much wider Field of View (FOV) on demand, which is great for capturing wider scenes to provide the additional context.The lens adapter attaches to the Osmo Pocket 3 via magnet. As the product page states, the lens can't be left on thePocket 3 full-time. You need to attach it when you want the wide-angle view and remove it before powering off the camera.Overall, I'm happy with this MINGVEN lens adapter. It's a convenient way to get a wide-angle view with my Osmo Pocket 3.

Through testing this lens does give you a wider presentation as advertised. The picture is clear and the magnet is strong. At the edges straight lines are curved in a bit. This is to be expected on a lens of this size. I have not tried to use software to smooth that out yet. The picture is good, so it does help when I'm shooting homes for my YouTube channel.

Mit dem magnetischen MINGVEN Weitwinkelobjektiv habe ich mit meinen DJI Osmo Pocket beim Filmen ein größeres bzw. weiteres Sichtfeld - gerade bei Landschaftsaufnahmen oder Vlogs ist das ein echter Gewinn. Schon der erste Eindruck ist positiv: Das Objektiv wirkt solide verarbeitet, die Bildqualität ist gut und ich kann keine nennenswerten Verzerrungen oder Unschärfen an den Bildrändern feststellen. Das Sichtfeld erweitert sich deutlich was - bei Gruppenaufnahmen und weitläufigen Szenen - sehr hilfreich ist.Die Montage erfolgt über einen Magnetmechanismus, der das Objektiv sicher an der Kamera hält. Allerdings ist der Halt so stark, dass das Entfernen etwas umständlich werden kann. Außerdem ist das Objektiv recht dick – zu dick, um es einfach auf der Kamera zu lassen, wenn diese ausgeschaltet wird. Man muss also jedes Mal daran denken, es vorher abzunehmen. Auch bei der Aufbewahrung gibt es Einschränkungen, da es nicht mit allen Halterungen oder Hüllen kompatibel ist.Trotz dieser kleinen Nachteile überzeugt das Objektiv durch seinen funktionalen Nutzen. Es tut genau das, was es soll: Es erweitert den Blickwinkel ohne spürbare Qualitätseinbußen. Für einen relativ niedrigen Preis bietet es mir die Möglichkeit, meine Kamera flexibel an unterschiedliche Aufnahmesituationen anzupassen. Wer bereit ist, die genannten kleine Kompromisse beim Handling einzugehen, bekommt mit diesem Objektiv eine hervorragende Ergänzung für den Osmo Pocket 3. Daher ist das magnetische MINGVEN Weitwinkelobjektiv mir eine Empfehlung mit 5 Sternen wert.

This has passed my Wide-angle Test. I placed four sticky notes on each side of a set of tiles in my main shower. I then take one photo with the Pocket 3 using its own lens and then another with the wide-angle lens.Pocket 3: You can see three sticky notes on each side of the center dot.MINGVEN: You can see all four sticky notes on each side of the center dot plus some extra space at the end of the shower/tub.This is a really good lens at a very good price and works well for wide-angle shots.

I recently got this wide-angle lens with my DJI Osmo Pocket 3, and I'm generally pleased with the results. The lens itself is well-constructed, and the wider field of view it provides is definitely noticeable and beneficial. The optics are clear, with no distortions or imperfections. The screen protector included in the package was also easy to apply and has been working flawlessly.However, the lens's thickness is a significant consideration. It's much bulkier than other wide-angle lenses I've seen for this device, which means you absolutely have to remove it before turning off the Osmo Pocket 3. This adds an extra step to the workflow that can be a bit of a hassle. Furthermore, the strong magnetic attachment, while ensuring the lens stays in place, makes it quite difficult to remove. This has me slightly concerned about the potential for long-term wear and tear on the gimbal.In conclusion, the lens delivers on its promise of a wider field of view with excellent optical quality. But the thickness and the strong magnetic grip are points to consider before purchasing.
