Great sturdy case, a little disapointed my case didn't come in with the extra compartments for my bits and stuff (which to be fair wasnt advertised to come with).But overall, good purchase.

It fits exactly two drills, charger and two batteries, hard to fit anything else inside the case, such as drill bits, screwdriver bits

I love all things Makita so I'm biased but I love that I can buy the empty case for my tools. About 2 months ago I purchased the drill & impact driver set that this case is made for and everything fits perfectly. It also has room for 2 batteries and a single battery charger

Everyone needs this!I bought this as a new Makita user, but this is da bomb! Others have shown pics of the inside, but it stores your drill and impact (both with batteries), the charger, 2 extra batteries (up to 5.0), and more (I have my tape measure, scraper, wrench, pliers, ac check, small flashlight, and more). It even has locking holes around the handle.What is not mentioned is the storage area on the lid of the case. It’s a little hard (stiff!) to open but you pull the center front part and can be opened even when the case is clasped shut. Check the photo!

I recently purchased the "MAKITA XT268T 18V LXT Lithium-Ion Brushless Cordless 2-Pc. Combo Kit" with two 5.0ah batteries and it came with a regular, plain-jane bag. While the bag does the job just fine, it's quite tight when it comes to actually storing the side-grip and the depth rod and causes the bag to stretch to fit them, leaving little room for anything else. Now I'm familiar with MAKITA's previous offerings and other tools from them offer hard case options with more room, this would be one of them.Not only is this hard case better suited to holding the drills and accessories, but it also keeps everything nice and sorted with individual compartments / slots to keep the drills (with batteries installed) in place, 2 extra batteries (making room for a total of four) and the charging cradle! BUT WAIT- THERE'S MORE!On top of all that space, these hard cases have secondary compartments on the top lid that allows you to store additional bits and accessories for your drills! HOW COOL IS THAT?!That reason alone made me go hunt down one of these cases for my combo kit, that way I never lose anything again!For me this is well worth the $22 (as of the writing of this review) I spent to get this thing!

Great case for my drill/ impact. Has alot of space in main compartment for the tools. I also keep three cases of drill bits in with them, with room to spare. Second compartment on top is very hard to open Initially, loosens up over time. Can fit loose bits and other accessories in top.
