Makita is more powerful and cheaper. This tool is good for not stripping, but its slower and less power than even the Milwaukee surge

Have more Metabo/Hitachi product and have found them solid. With that said, I was disappointed to find out the drill was made in CHINA while the battery was made in Germany and the battery charger in Vietnam. Now, it's still brand new and nothing is broken but there is verbiage on the website said "Made in Germany." If I wanted to buy made in china I could have bought any drill out there.
