This is a good, simple, light weight, summer sort of vest. There is a mesh lining which should help with breathability, although the shell is polyester and may be too warm on the hottest of summer days. While I suppose anything with a pocket or two could be called a utility cargo vest, this really isn’t what I would think of as a cargo vest, safari vest, fishing vest or any of the other descriptors that to me usually means it would have a lot of pockets and storage areas. This vest has two zippered hand warmer pockets down low in front, a single zippered breast pocket and two small pockets inside with a simple velcro patch to hold it closed. The hand pockets are large enough for me to comfortably use with my larger than normal hands, and I certainly can safely hold a wallet or phone in those zippered pockets. The upper front pocket is surprisingly small. I can just put my large iPhone in it and then struggle to zip it closed. It really should have been a few inches taller and wider to be really useful. The inside pockets would have also been more useful if they were larger and had a more secure way of closing it. A zipper or flap over the pocket would have been appreciated. I’m not that concerned with a small item in there falling out while wearing the vest, but if I take off the vest and throw it over the back of a chair those pockets might empty.I own a few of the typical many pocketed vests in different weights. Those definitely get used when traveling, as well as closer to home if I need to carry more or need to add a layer for warmth. However, most of those do scream tourist. This is a simpler vest that could still safely carry a few small items, but likely would look more as if you’re wearing it for a bit of warmth or to add sone color to your wardrobe rather than carrying a bunch of valuables or adventure gear. That’s how I envisioned using this when I ordered it, and I am not disappointed.I would normally wear a size XL, tall if available. This fit me well, as I expected/hoped that would. The length is a bit longer than the typical vests you’d find with three piece suits and fits me well. It’s also more of a snug fit around the torso rather than a loose fitting vest meant to be added over a few layers. This works well over a shirt or perhaps sweatshirt, perfectly acceptable for a lightweight, summer sort of vest.While I would have preferred the upper pocket and two inner pockets to be a bit larger, I am still pleased with this purchase. Good fit, the Navy color is a good dark blue, navy color and it gives me a bit of warmth and a couple of useful pockets.

The material is water resistant and it feels solid. The mesh interior does let you breathe but it did get a little warm on the hike, but that’s why we layer. The vest is good for misty cool mornings. I washed it in cold water and hung it out to dry. The hubby likes to wear it for the early morning walks.

This jacket looks and feels nice, however whenever I wear this I expect to use it's pockets, otherwise what's the point of wearing this, but then the pockets on this jacket are all a bit small, the chest pocket can barely fit in my phone. Hope they make the pockets bigger to be more useful.

The color of the vest is great, material is lightweight and seems to be good quality, and the amount of pockets is wonderful. However, the sizing is so off. I went by the size chart and - as usual - ordered a medium for my husband. This "medium" is HUGE, could almost fit both my husband and me... at the same time! I ended up giving it to a bother-in-law that is usually two sizes bigger than mu husband and even he still had quite a lot of 'wiggle room'.

Nice comfortable vest. Comes with two zipper pockets and one interior one. I'd say size is true to fit. Good quality material and it's lightweight. I would wear this in some what normal weather, I don't recommend for really hot weather, might be too warm for that, but it's light and decent quality, 5/5 stars.
