This latch has that really beautiful deep chrome finish. Look perfectly in place on my cabin cruiser.I used it for the cabin door, which used to use a weird skeleton key and vibrated loudly. This latch looks better, feels better to use, and even swings out of the way when the door is open.I recommend attaching the main part of the latch to the door frame first. Then lock the little part into the latch, and pull it tight before screwing onto the door. For me this created the perfect tension when it locks. It just snaps shut and is instantly silenced.I will buy more

I ordered these latches to replace some old ones on my sailboat. These latches are nice and solid, feeling like the 316 stainless they claim to be. They fit tightly but are easy to open, and come with screws for installation. I am happy with the quality and utility of these latches, and would order again from this company.

I got these for a toolbox that has no handle on the top and nothing to keep it closed. I have a nice handle, and the latches are even nicer, but unfortunately too big for the barely 1" I have to attach them, so I will have to install them someplace else. These are well made and very heavy duty, and will securely hold the rated load. I like that they're lockable also.

Got these to use on my van build out. The latches have a nice finish. They are very easy to install and the latch mechanism holds securely. They keep my heavy duty 6ft drawer slides closed tight during driving. Exactly what I needed for my vanlife project
