Whisk Blooming & Care
For a full traditional experience and greater enjoyment, rinse the bamboo tines by dipping them in a bowl of warm water before each use. This helps to soften the bamboo tines, making the chasen flexible and springy for effective whisking.

Easy To Clean
To clean, carefully rinse under running water. If needed, use your fingers to gently remove remaining Matcha. Do not let the bamboo sit in water and do not use a dishwasher or dish soap. The best way to store the whisk is on a Kusenaoshi (whisk holder) to help keep its shape. If you don’t have a holder, keep it resting upwards or store in the included container.

the chasen looks good. we have takayama whisks from japan and they last quite a long time. hopefully, this one will last too. the one we originally received as part of the set had a slight defect. the seller reached out to us and quickly sent a replacement. the new chasen is good - no damage - and works as expected. sure, it is not hand-crafted in japan, but it is better that most factory-made chinese whisks you find today even at japanese stores. it is a soild whisk that will help you whip a nice matcha with a light froth in no time. whisking matcha with a bamboo whisk makes all of the difference, it is the best way to properly aerate it.notice that the scoop and the spoon come with very short handles. they look adorable, and at first i was not sure they would be useful. i would still use full-sized bamboo scoop daily and keep the new short scoop and the short spoon for traveling. all 3 items fit nicely and safely in a tube-like box.this set is artfully presented and well-priced. it would make a very nice gift for a matcha lover in your life. the whole set and presentation look more expensive than it's amazon price.the seller is one of the best on amazon. rarely do you find a seller who cares as much about their products as their customers' satisfaction. very impressed that a seller of this caliber is selling good quality matcha-related products on amazon. well done aprikalife.

I used to stir my matcha or use a large whisk and a bowl to stir it before pouring it into a cup. If you're a match drinker, than a matcha whisk is a must. It adds serenity to your tea making ritual. I am very happy with this little set. It feels nice and holds up. I only rinse the whisk with water after I use it and let it dry, but it is as good as the day it came. A matcha whisk set could also be a good gift and I would buy this one again.

I liked the price point, and it is easy to clean or keep clean. It does take some finesse to whip the matcha, but it does work. I never bought one of these tools before, but seen them used by other people. So far, excellent.

AprikaLife – Matcha Bamboo Whisk SetThis is my first matcha whisk. I have been drinking matcha for years but I have always used an electric frother. I recently had tried AprkiaLife's matcha and really enjoyed it so when I saw that they also made a Chasen, I decided to give it a try.I watched a bunch of videos and made sure to warm briefly soak the chasen before each use, how to whisk, how to clean and care for it. I have used it for a few weeks now and the chasen has started to bloom. The curls of the outer tines are starting to uncurl and the inner ones are starting to loosen up.As for the difference in the matcha, well I think I still need some practice as I am only getting a small amount of froths with big bubbles. I am sure it's more my lack of experience than anything to do with the whisk that is resulting in these larger bubbles.Overall I'm happy with my chasen and though I've been drinking matcha for years, this ritual of whisking my own matcha is something I look forward to in the mornings now.

The whisk has 100 prongs which is a good standard number for a good matcha whisk.It is well-made and works very well.I just wish it comes with a whisk stand to store and dry it after use.The set is made of bamboo. Avoid soap and very hot (like boiling) water.Good quality matcha whisk set.
