My wife just lets the matcha whisk sit on the counter as I watch the inner structure slowly expand. So I needed to get one of these for her so that she can keep the shape for longer. It's easy to use and keeps the inner part tight, although you might need to carefully maneuver it in if the whisk is far too gone like ours is. It's a well made piece, the glaze is smooth and covers the raw clay aesthetically. It was a great value and is just very straightforward in its function. No compaints here!

I bought this chasen holder to maintain the shape of my chasen and also to help with drying. I am really happy with this product. I like the simple, classic beauty of the ceramic, and it fit my chasen perfectly. After only once drying on this holder, my chasen regained back its shape.

The hole in the center was too small to fit the inner layer of the whisk threads. I could force it to fit, but it was squishing it inward, unnaturally. If your whisk has an inward facing inner layer, it may work.

I was looking for something easy to rest my matcha whisk on and searched on Etsy for a reliable matcha holder-All priced more then I wanted to pay. I found this one on here and to my surprise it arrived in one piece and the quality is actually really good. Has a handmade feel to it and does not look cheap. I got the one with the half white paint. Happy I purchased!

The color and feel of this holder is beautiful!Just a couple concerns:(1) As I suspected from the other review, the item was not well packaged or packed at all. (I actually expected to receive a broken item haha!) The holder only came in a small box. I had another item in my Amazon order, and thankfully the holder was not shattered. The holder fell open during transit and was actually rolling around when I opened the box. I would suggest to place a separate order for this item, and HOPEFULLY the warehouse packers pack it securely in a separate box.(2) I’m not sure if these holders come in different sizes, but this one feels too big for my whisk. It fits, but I feel my whisk is spread too wide. If I don’t push it down hard enough, the whisk actually pops back up. See photos. Anyone know if these holders are all made in one size?Regardless, I am happy with the item and the value/price!
