Sturdy and classy style. The weight of this door handle is surprising. You can feel the quality and craftmanship. Instructions are easy to read and understand and install took about 10 mins from start to finish. The door lock works great and is effortless. Great item.

I got this to replace our current door handles which came with the home but it looked real cheap. This matte black fits our door and the locking mechanism better. Although this has a deadbolt lock and everything, we did not use it - we just used the handle portion of this set. We have an electronic keypad so we didn't need the deadbolt and lock, yet the handles worked great as a "mix and match" with what we currently have. My husband did have to drill through the metal door to fit the size but it wasn't too difficult.My only minor complaint is the handle lever, the long one that goes outside. It doesn't really press down smoothly and I find it a bit hard to do so. The inside handle is much easier to use since you are just pulling down a lever, which is a lot more smooth and easy. I don't know if oiling it will help make it more smooth and easy but I will have to give that a try.Overall this is a good set, looks modern but not too modern, I really like how this looks on our door. It works well with our keypad deadbolt lock. I didn't get to use the deadbolt portion of this set so I can't speak on that but I am happy with this set.

I picked up this entry handle set because I needed something new on my front door to match the electronic deadbolt I recently installed. Because I did not need the deadbolt from this set, I cannot speak to its quality, so this review will focus on only the latch.Every part is securely packed in foam and wrapped in cellophane for protection, and everything was in perfect condition when unpacked. Installation was very easy -- instructions are not required if you've done this sort of install in the past, and I did not crack the pamphlet open once. All of the through-door bolts aligned with the previous handle set perfectly. The only tool you need for the install is a Phillips driver.The action on the exterior thumb lever is firm but not difficult to engage. The interior handle is the same, not sloppy by any means, but definitely easy enough for even a toddler to operate if need be. I did notice that the latch didn't retract quite as far with this new set when turning the handle, but it was still far enough to clear the strike plate. The only issue I have with the handle set, and it's a very minor one, is that the strike plate and latch plate feel thin and they flexed a little when tightening them down. I didn't deduct a star for that because it's a very minor thing, and I don't expect it will affect performance over time.Overall, I think this handle set is a great upgrade to my entry door. It looks modern and has a quality feel to it. Great product!

This handle set is easy to install and looks great. I didn’t need to deadbolt since I’m using an electronic wifi lock. It matches it perfectly. Only minor nitpick is the lever on the outside handle to open the door is a bit stiff and hard to push down. Overall, a great value for an expensive, high-end looking front door handle set.

Decent construction, slightly rounded edges makes it more comfortable to use. Not too light despite the relatively inexpensive price. Similar branded locksets retail for $100+. Fits standard 1-3/4" front door.Used it for a gut-rehab single family home. Unfortunately, we had to take it off due to change in window/transom colors (black), which meant front door also had to be switched to black/dark brown to match, which meant we had to swap the black lockset out for a chrome/brushed nickel one instead. Will save it for our next build.Black color is ok, didn't experience any during our use (~1 month).

This is a nice door handle set. It looks classy but simple and modern. The black matte finish is really nice plus black goes with any door color. The material is sturdy and heavy. This was a super easy to install as all pieces fit and instructions were written well. All parts are provided for the install. The mechanism works as it should. Can't complain when things go so smoothly! Price wise, its comparable to similar door handle sets, even from the big box stores. Would recommend if you need a new set of door handles!
