About this item

  • MAXXIS MINION DHF: With a tread design that deftly balances rolling speed with braking and cornering traction, it’s no wonder that the Minion DHF is one of the most imitated tires in mountain biking.
  • 3C MAXXTERRA: An intermediate triple compound configuration used across our mountain tire line. The 3C MaxxTerra compound offers more traction than 3C MaxxSpeed, yet provides better treadwear and less rolling resistance than MaxxGrip, which makes it ideal for trail riding in all conditions.
  • EXO: A cut and abrasion-resistant material added to the sidewalls of many of our gravel and MTB tires. Suitable for use in a wide range of riding applications from gravel to XC to light trail duty.
  • E25: Tires with an E25 rating are suitable for light duty e-bikes with assistance up to a maximum of 16.1 MPH.
  • WIDE TRAIL: Optimizes the tire’s tread layout and profile to match today’s modern, wider rims. Maxxis offers WT tires for everything from XC to gravity applications. A 30mm internal width rim is ideal for most applications, but WT tires can be used on rims ranging from 19mm to 35mm internal.
  • QUALITY GUARANTEE: 1-Year Manufacturer's Warranty

I like everything about these tires especially the cornering grip but it make my mad that they sell them as 2.6 width when they are clearly 2.5 on the button. It’s still my favorite front tire though.

My go to front tire for years. Lots of imitations which says a lot.

Are you shreddy for traction?! Love these tires for the techy terrain here in Tennessee. Great tires. Lots of traction and sidewall support. Have historically been very durable. Definitely recommend.

Nice grip on dry or wet dirt trails, with or without rock. It's a really nice tire, the only the only disadvantage is on muddy trails, the tires accumulate a lot of mud and lock the wheels.

It’s the benchmark. Hard to beat it for aggressive trail riding or park laps in the east.

Evenly predictable two wheel drifts and always hooks up, its the most confidence inspiring tire you will ever ride need I say more

I love these tyres, however this one has arrived with a wonky bead that won’t seat correctly. Also it seems to have a strange compound that isn’t as tacky as normal, unsure if it’s a legit tyre
