The M-D Aluminum High-profile Outswing Door Threshold features a vinyl seal for protection from drafts, moisture, dust, and insects. The bumper-style design is specifically made for outswing doors. As the door swings shut the vinyl bumper insert creates a seal on the side of the door. The threshold can be used to install with a new door or to replace an existing threshold. All of the hardware needed for installation is included. Before installation, the threshold can be cut to a desired length by using a hacksaw.

I should have read the reviews before purchasing these thresholds. The product itself is fine, the customer service is non existent if you need it. They are supposed to come with a rubber gasket and screws. I ordered two of them. They came in separate boxes. One was missing the screws. The other was missing the gasket and the screws. In my order I clicked on needing support. It started to call M-D, the manufacturer. I called the 800 number and left multiple messages with no response. I finally got someone on the line only to tell me I have reached the Canadian arm of their company and they can't help me. Once I got the correct number and called someone in Oklahoma...they informed me that Amazon is who I need to call for this. So I called them...they wouldn't help me because I was outside the return window...I didn't want to return it. Screw them.

We received the threshold and that’s it, no screws and no rubber gasket. I called MD for customer support and was told since this item comes from a separate location I have to return the item through Amazon and reorder to get the right part. Unfortunately I see here this happened to another customer twice already. No thank you. We will keep the incomplete order and make it work as we have no other options at this point. Not a happy customer; the one star rating is best at minimum.
