Product is fine but should have included screws which do a better job of attaching the product. The nails can be pried off by pulling on the end of the product. Price seems high for the product, but when you need it, you need it. I would buy it again if I need it.

It's a nice piece of metal. However, it is a little bit more flimsy than I thought it would be. With that said, I used the nails and some glue, as well as some industrial 3M double-sided tape and it works perfectly.Won't budge, and looks great!

I have carpeted stairs. The carpet on one of my stairs started to tear due to foot traffic. I was looking for a quick fix to cover the eyesore and stop additional tearing. This was it! Shipping was fast. Product arrived with no scratches or dents. Install took a whopping 2 minutes to mail into the wood stair.l, and you can no longer see the eyesore.

We use these on the front of our porch steps. They protect the steps from getting broken off on the edges and they help illuminate the steps when the porch light hits them.

It came in and I opened the box came with some threaded nails in a plastic bag. I was putting it on a step that on the top was tile, front was cement and bottom was carpet. This trim was to cover the edge of the tile and go flat on the cement. I didn't want to nail it down because I would have had to screw into tile and cement so I used some strong adhesive. I let it dry overnight. So far it has held up and this is at a daycare that has a lot of traffic through this door. I took off one star because it is a little thinner metal than I would like. I wish it was a little sturdier. I was able to bend it pretty easily with my hands. It is made out of aluminum which is nice. It's not super thin, just a little thinner than our old one that lasted 8 years.
