It’s important to me to have a stainless steel dog comb. I like to wash it often, and if it is not stainless steel, it will rust. This one was described as stainless steel, but I tested it with a magnet and found that it is not. I am sending it back and will order a different one.

I recently received this comb for my dog and I have to say, I am thoroughly impressed. Not only is it sturdy and durable, but the coloring is also very attractive. My dog absolutely loves it.The comb is made of high-quality material and feels very sturdy in my hand. I was surprised by how well it held up against my dog's thick fur. Usually, this comb seems like it will last a long time.The design of the comb is also very eye-catching. The bright colors make it stand out and it adds a fun touch.However, my only complaint about this comb is the grip. While it is comfortable to hold, it can sometimes slip out of my hand if my dog is squirming around too much. I wish the grip was a bit more secure, but it's a small issue compared to how well the comb works.Overall, I am extremely satisfied with this comb and would highly recommend it to any dog owner. It's durable, attractive, and most importantly, my dog loves it.

Our Ragdoll has very long, thick fur and it tangles easily. I got this to help comb through some of those. It will do a decent job of getting out tangle if a flea comb in too tight, but it doesn't really de-shed. Our cat doesn't particularly like to be brushed so this is much quicker for a more smoothed over look and helps prevent tangles. I would definitely use this on a night where I don't have as much time but would still feel like I need other brushes to de-shed and for a more quality brushing.
