To be honest, I had no idea what "tamper resistant" meant in regard to an outlet. But they were the same price as the normal outlets so I chose these. For other people like myself who don't know how tamper resistant outlets are different than non-tamper resistant outlets, it just takes a little more of a push to get them to plug in to the outlet. These are nice quality, modern appearance, and look so much cleaner than the old ones that were in my house. It was a rental previously and the type of folks that did the painting, painted the outlets too. I recommend these and plan on purchasing more when I have used this package up.

I’m using this product in a rebuild of an old trailer. so far so good. I’m finding Amazon is more than willing to go above and beyond to take care of their customers no matter what the issue is, of which I’m really really grateful. MICMI sells a great product it’s durable. It has the quick connect option for the 15 amp connection. It has a screw in type for the 20 amp wire. The tamper resistant to keep little fingers from shocking themselves works well, it’s not too stiff it’s just right. If you are disappointed of your purchase, the Amazon customer service team will gladly help you out.

We recently purchased a house that had a bunch of old outlets, it looked so ugly and some were broken. I knew I was going to paint my doors black so I wanted black outlets to match. These were easy to install, looks great and worked without any issues.

Unable to plug stuff into the outlet. After several hrs to change all my outlets try plugging items in and I am unable too. Not to happy

These outlets are UL listed, which gives me confidence that they won't blow up out of nowhere once installed. The plugs grip well, and are easy to install. The cover plates are also color matched perfectly to the plugs which is nice for consistency.

Finish on these is great matches are decor perfectly. The plastic feels a little bit cheap but you don’t notice it unless you’re actually holding the receptacle itself.

You may want to check the UL certification number of this outlet before installing these. Do a search on UL E311431 as it shows some questionable result which I question these outlet's UL authenticity. However, this review will be based on the outlet itself.The tamper resistance shutters operate very smoothly with no binding nor stuck shutter. The shutters are much smoother than some other brand names. I had no problems inserting plugs.The holding strength is very good as well. It takes a reasonable amount of force to remove plugs which means less chance of arcing. The contacts have a large contact point which also results in less arcing should a plug wiggle. All the outlets in the package have good holding strength.The screw terminals are dimpled so it grabs the wires securely. There are also quick push connectors at the back as well should you decide to make a quick install.There is wire and a strip gauge printed at the back of the outletTo me, it seems like these outlets perform very well and even perform better than some brand names. I have these installed in my garage which powers a 110v arc welder and air compressor. These are high current draw machines so these outlets do the job just fine.
