I bought a second hand Miele vacuum for $20, replaced the belt on the power brush and it now works perfectly.

Vacuum was not picking up dirt like it should. Discovered the belt was worn out. This replacement did the trick. Back to cleaning house. :

These vacuums and vacuum heads are very expensive. I replaced the band on this vacuum and it now works like a charm. I highly recommend you try to replace the band before replacing other more expensive components.

My Miele canister vacuum has been a great purchase for so many years now. Servicing the machine is so simple and the parts are easy to come by.
