I keep my flour in this plastic container, which is the perfect size, and place it in my freezer. The bugs cannot get to it. The flour stays fresh and bug-free.

I just bought two of these containers for flour and I am concerned that they won’t last long. The hinge on the lid is pretty flimsy and if they are really full they bow out so it is more difficult to close the lid. If I am really careful I think they will be fine but next time I will buy the sturdier type with clamp-on lids.

I had purchased a 5# bag of flour to do some holiday baking but I was unaware that we had a very unwelcome guest (a field mouse). the little rascal chewed through the paper flour bag and left a dusty coating of flour all over my pantry which took quite a while to clean up. I cleaned up the mess, tossed out the un eaten flour & ordered this contain before purchasing my replacement bag of flour. A 5# bag fits PERFECTLY and makes it easier for me to transfer flour to my kitchen canister. The little monster won't get into this one = EVER. STILL TRYING TO GET RID OF THE MOUSE. I bought cereal keepers and a few other plastic protections as well.

This works to store bags of flour/sugar, but that’s all I use it for. I pour my opened flour/sugar in a sturdier container. This container has thin plastic and I think the lid would break with regular use.

This flour keeper is flimsy. The lid was stuck and I couldn’t get it to come open. I ran a knife around the edge trying to get it loose and cracked the corner a bit before I could get it open.

I really like this. I use it for Flour and for Cornmeal mix. I have no trouble opening or closing it but I understand that some people do. It is my favorite way to store flour and cornmeal. You just drop in the bag no need to label. It is that simple.
