The hole is too small for the umbrella pole that was suggested to buy. it with. I would return it but I already filled it with sand

It’s a good little stand and comes with a weight bag, but I had to return it because our balcony table is smaller, and the “ legs” seemed to get in the way.

It works ok but it’s clumsy to use. I got it for traveling and I keep the donut disk full of water and in a waterproof carrier and I have the umbrella holder in the box. If the wind blows even with the donut full of water holding it, it blows over. It’s great for days with no breeze but it’s not great for any kind of day with the slightest wind or breeze.

We needed something to hold up an umbrella at our neighborhood pool that has no umbrellas. The stand folds up small enough to put in a bag and is sturdy enough to hold a 7’ umbrella. On a breezy day I filled the “donut” with water and it was heavy as lead. Kept the umbrella in place!

Works well in areas you cant dig into. We use it at the rivers edge where there are large bolders. Not too heavy yet sturdy. Umbrella was fine I'm 12mph winds.

The base is easy to assemble and to use and does not rock or sway. The flat ends of the stand base elements could be a bit more level as they seem to fan upwards a bit off the level surface. Beyond that I have no real concerns.

I am very happy with this umbrella stand. It was just what I was searching for. I can use it on the driveway, grass or sand.It does need weight or anchors in the wind though. As mine did blow over. The legs are easy to use and weigh down.I am very happy with it and the portable option makes it even more appealing.I would recommend this as a very happy option for anyone who likes shade like me.Thank you to all the others who had good reviews to help me find this.

Good little stand, we used it for a beach umbrella in our garden. We don't use the water balloon weight, just lean a couple of house bricks on it.

The stand is good and sturdy. I've tested it with a Portabrella and a Tellabrella. Yes, you do have to use some sort of weight to keep the umbrella from tipping over and that was expected. I got this for an upcoming trip where I bring my own umbrella. This gizmo will allow me to use it poolside.The water ring leaks all over the place. I had two and both were the same. I kept this one with a discount, and will fill it with sand on the beach. I'll come up with something else poolside.

We had a cookout recently & I wanted to display our American flag proudly. We usually have it on the front porch but I decided I wanted to fly it in our backyard instead, where everyone would be & could see it. We tried using a pipe stuck in the ground, which worked if we didn't mind it flying on an angle, but I wanted it up higher. I searched & searched on the web for a "flag holder", "flag pole holder", etc & didn't find what I had in mind. Until, I saw the search result by Amazon. It was exactly what I had in mind. And, the price was right too! I loved the idea of the weighted ring to help hold it down if needed, but actually, the stand was pretty stable on it's own. We used the weighted ring anyway just to be safer with our guests around. I must say the stand did the trick. It's well-made & sturdy. I have a smaller diameter telescoping pole that fit nicely inside the adapter. I would recommend this flag pole stand.
